Love this way, we save and reuse our water bottles to grow San marzano tomatoes, cucumbers, rosemary, and tons of other things. The plastic rotisserie chicken containers work fantastic too.
Oooohh thank you, I was looking for a way to reuse or recycle these containers, instead of buying a lot of planters.😊😊
The easiest water bottle seeding I have seen! Thank you!
Little condiment containers with lids work great too
This is a great way to repurpose water bottles. Thank you for sharing these tips!
This is a great idea! Unfortunately, we don't buy bottled water but I do have some 16 oz cola bottles in the fridge. I know just how to reuse them now. Thank you.
That's a great idea!
Absolutely love this!!! I drink a lot of water a day and recycle them, but now I can use this method for my seeds. Also it'll be easy to cut the bottle for transplanting with those tender roots. Thank you for the idea!
What would be the çoolest, the minimum temperature outside for this mini-greenhouse to work? Do you think 45 degrees would be okay?
I like this method! Tks for sharing
Can I put them on the kitchen's window edge? "Indoors" This will be in Dallas, Texas weather...
What's this song called? It sounds lovely!
What about harding off? How do you do that?
What does "hardening off" mean?
What is the height of bottom half of the bottle? Why do you cut it where you do in this video?
Do I water seeds every day and how much?
Hi Christine. no, the containers keep the seeds moist :) just spot check them..if one seems dry you can add a little water but you probably never need to do that
Great idea, as I have alot of bottles recycled. I live in Ireland 🇮🇪.. Thanks for sharing.
Do they need to be kept in ample sunlight?
How do you transplant them?
you can cut the plastic down and pluck them up out of the soil to transplant 💗
