Rip Curl First Known Ascent // Tramway x Undiscovered Country // May 13, 2024
Whilst being dragged to the randomest parts of tram as a part of @sean.barely's hunt for lesser known climbs, @ckclimb scoped out and put up a problem that we think hasn’t been done yet!
If you can get past the choss, it features some pretty neat holds and actually climbs pretty decent.
The line sits under the Wave Cave (as seen on Mountain Project) and we’re calling it “Rip Curl”! Christian thinks it clocks in around V6ish.
We also put up a heel-dragger that starts on some blocky slopers on the left side of the boulder and traverses into the same exit as Rip Curl. Sean is calling the traverse “Rip Current”-and feels quite a bit easier than Rip Curl.
