Thanks for the video. I've been looking for something like this for a while. I made a space invaders type game in U*ity a few years ago, and am looking forward to seeing how a Godot version will compare. 😁
A small issue i encountered during this process. If you're following along and get an error when trying to connect your timer node to the scene, make sure you have a script ready. I followed along beat for beat and it wouldnt let me connect the timer, creating a new script seemed to fix the issue although it didnt actually change much of anything. I also had an issue with it not loading visually when running the scene. Make sure you have autostart on in the timer settings. Otherwise nothing will happen.
wouldnt it be better for the movement constraint, just creating 2 Static Bodies, with vertical lines as child nodes? and execute the script move_and_slide() in the _process function?
i dont know if you take any tutorial requests . but could you maybe make a tutorial on how to make a game like NZP ( nazi zombie portable ) its based off Call of duty WAW zombies but i like the graphics and such of NZP
Thanks for helping me with keeping motivated in my very noobish and slow-paced game development career 😅 Really appreciate it man!
OMG dude :D Thank you :D Keep it up. Progess may be slow but you'll get there! I believe in you :)
Man, this guy did all of that in one go? Fucking siege engine of a human being. LEGEND!!!!
@@romancretnik7952 that comment made my day 😀❤️

Amazing tutorial thanks :D
No problem!

There are many ways to achieve given goal in programming. I did not test your solution but it might actually be better :)
Thank you.

Thank you for your suggestion but I think the scope of that would be to big :D
