"Don't get emotional" is one of THE BEST pieces of advice. With this mindset, you're negotiating, deal hunting and selecting from the perspective of a business. Great job Chandler.
When I first started looking for a house, my first realtor was a pain to work with. She was hard to contact and looked like she was annoyed at showing us houses(and only showed us around 5). Ditched her and went with a recommendation and what a difference. Her and her team were always there to answer any questions I had.
Thanks so much for this video. I’m finally in a great financial place in life and really want to get a house, but it’s obviously such a huge commitment and have been incredibly nervous.
Taxes - Pay to Play got me. Perfect credit, very little debt. Writing things off will increase your debt to income ratio and get you denied for a loan. This won't affect many of you guys but as a person with several rental units it can.
Chandler, I think you need to have a video regarding the near term future of the housing and mortgage industry. With the upcoming forbearance starting in June, people need to be careful about buying properties, for personal use or investment. If you don't believe this, that's fine, support your opinion, that too is just as valuable.
Great information. I’m researching the information I need to know before purchasing a house. I hit like and then subscribe to see if you have videos on houses vs townhouse and what I should know or expect.
Thanks for these videos man I am buying my first home and this is giving me a ton of good information to use. Especially since the house I want has no realtor.
I'm constantly looking for rental properties. Hard to find in a small rural communities, but not impossible. I have 3 houses right now and wanting to add 1 a year.
You keep mentioning having reserves, and I’m sitting here wondering how to have enough reserves to even purchase a home and then still maintain a reserves. 😅
Just to be clear the best bet is if in CA call “MattTheMortgageGuy” right?? Ha! Sorry, couldn’t help myself Better advice is talk to a few subpar lenders first then call me 🤙🏼 🤙🏼

Pretty good info! Although there are conventional loan programs that allow 3% down. 😊
You are right! Didn’t come off right in the way this was presented. Just easier to get if your credit or other stuff sucks

I’ve been having problems finding a lender for 580 FHA and 620 conventional any lender you recommend in Vegas?
If you get with a good mortgage broker they’ll have multiple options at 580. I’ll hold back on the referral until CDS gives me the green light ✅

I thought PMI comes in with anything below 20% equity? Then after 20% you can get that PMI removed. MIP with an FHA never drops off of course..
That’s correct and The MIP can be dropped after some years with FHA if you put more down *I’m a MLO*
is this the way to win against those ridiculous prices for a trash house with one room?
Do you think the jump in bit was worth it?
Thanks!
