He claims he didn’t watch Squid Game beforehand but was pumping himself up preparing for Tug of War and got surprised he was something different. He knew about the Umbrella strategy come on give me a break. Are we that dumb? No.
hate to break it to you but you dont need to watch a show to know stuff from it. hell as he stated he was in college football chance are people talked about it around him. or he did some research online.
Apparently you might be that dumb because you're allowed to talk to other players and they could've easily told him about tug of war and the cookie strategy.
@@mdartfeld It’s also a reality show too. Nothing is ever quite as things seem, right down to personalities and interviews. In fact, as the show went along it became less about the tasks and more about the emotionally unstable people they obviously carefully selected to make good television. I thought it worked quite well for a replication of the original show concept though. Could easily have sucked.
The challenges are also in the dorm walls. Plus if he didn’t watch season one he might have seen the trailer 🤷♀️

I'm being bullied in highschool RIGHT NOW and he gave me the opposite feeling. Idk maybe because he's black aswell but he doesn't look like the type. He helped the vulnerable and actually had meaningful conversations. Yknow that guy he "threatened"? He bullied a lot of people on that show according to people that went there

I like how he mentioned in the show that he couldn’t trust anyone. But yet his downfall was that he trusted someone else who was not worthy of a leadership role. He definitely should’ve been the leader. The moment the leader crumbled under pressure and he started calling the shots they start to put up a fight. I don’t know what possessed him to give up on his large ego at that moment. Maybe it’s the pressure of being viewed as the “villain”.
He literally did not know how to play the game. The girl wasn’t the best captain but he prolly would’ve been worse

He complained about being on the edge and everything thinking it was the most dangerous. What you’re essentially telling me is that you want somebody who doesn’t how to play the game you’re playing as your captain.

As a single mom of a little boy. His story got to me. He accomplished so much in his life, he should be really proud of himself. He may be arrogant, but a lot of that is youth. I also felt he got robbed in Battleships because he didn’t want his boat in that position. He’s got a bright future, not a villain, nice young man! Remember he didn’t let anyone fall for the phone trick. He was a good team player not a back stabber. There were a lot of jealous haters.

I believe he didn't watch the show. I thought he was entertaining but I could see how the other players wanted him out. I think if he watched the show he would have been slightly more calculated with his some of his actions. There is no doubt that he would have been eliminated by another player had he made it through battleship.

He really didn’t have to watch the show. This was all about a popularity contest and voting each other off, which I thought was corny. It’s a competition, not “we all take a vote and get this person out”
Most reality tv show competitions have a large social component. There’s some competitions that are based on social skills alone. You don’t get voted off if you have a good personality, strategy and some luck.
