Crazy jam. when I picked up this album I wasn't expecting to get hit so hard with JAMZ including this, Discreet, Happy That You're Happy, Affair...this album sounds like a prelude to Rhythm Nation actually.

I was a die hard fan of Cherrelle from 1984 with the first album, but her albums just go better and better with songs, and the messages she was putting-out there. Just review the songs from High Priority to Affair and the powerful lyrics. This track really was a great message of how the 80"s were ending. The next album "The Woman I Am" is all about Cherrelle's powerful talent and individuality. She is equal to being a great Teena Marie and Angela Bofill in talent and voice. I love you Cherrelle and still listen to you everyday. Blessings.

I came here to listen to this song because ABC World News Now just played a few seconds of this song when they were talking about the ugliest dog contest. I have this CD somewhere around here. I use to sell some copies at Amazon of Cherrelles best. I love the Affair cassette. Great songs Cherrelle in case she is reading this someday.

This is CRAZY. The whole "Affair" LP is a classic but this track was sooo hot! Should have been a single.
