What a frightening scene. A lot of mysterious fires being started.
Yeah, a lot of small independent businesses🧐
many businesses that no longer work...
@@phillipgonzlez8635 Sssshhhhhhhhhhuuuuusssshhh. 🤭
they should spray it with gasoline. it's downtown la so nothing of value lost
Space lasers!
insane how that much smoke from one building complex can nearly cover most of Downtown LA
That what happens with textiles. Scary!`
Especially since they're saying "they haven't located the actual fire" it's on the 2nd floor of THIS building.....🧐
Seems odd
Carcinogenic Chemicals soaked carpets and clothes. LA deserves this for their Heathen Gods Program.
That just shows the vulnerability
The way textiles are stored (rolls with gaps of air) can generate an airflow dynamic akin to a jet or rocket engine. That blasting effect will be directed horizontally or vertically, depending on the rolls’ orientation. Cotton’s bad enough. Just imagine the synthetics’ combustion heat and the toxicity of its smoke.
Chemical process in Third World counties have made this a Chemical Fire. Poisin a 100,000 people with an arsonist fire and blame TRUMP 2024!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, i used to burn like .5" cardboard tubes they shoot nice jets i can only imagine something with far more fuel.
Prayers🙏for the firefighters.
How did the ceiling not just get raised like a hot air balloon!?!!🤯
Yes very helpful 😂
In the 1930s, the island of Trinidad had a lot of fires known as "insuraburn".

Why keep them safe...start sooner and don't allow the fire. Lazy god dynamics.
- No, just evil human dynamics, which will be punished in this life or the next depending on the individual.@@morbidmanmusic
People just accepting all these fires around the world. Unaware of really what’s going on.😮
looks like a normal fire with 40-60 foot jumping flames to me.
I try and tell people but it goes right over their heads. We (us citizens) are being conditioned, moved and replaced.
"what's really going on" yeah everyone knows fire doesn't exist in nature
@@frankmacleod2565 Only when you view it on the surface. The rabbit hole is deep...very deep.
@@williamwaller2485 I've viewed it from all angles, trust me. I read a lot. The depth is an illusion. Fire occurs in nature, with or without humans involved. The universe is a chaotic place. Spontaneous combustion is actually a thing.
Praying for the fire fighters.🙏🙏
That's gonna help 😂

I grew up in DTLA. Ain't nobody breathing today! That smoke is THICK!
Salute to L A Fire Department !!!!!
About time
What happend
everyone seeing the number of fires happening?! something i never seen in all my yrs.
That's because 90% of it is arson being committed by paid "environmentalists" to support the corporate & political narrative of "climate change" when it's the 1% causing 90% of humanity's problems in the first place.
Wow, those firefighters on the roof are really in a dangerous situation, even being experts! Love to them all!
Very good question about the textiles' chemicals.
If you recall children's sleep ware say that they ARE NOT fire retardant. Most fabrics are not retardant. People don't look at labels. CA has cancer warnings over fabrics.
It scared you when you buy furniture, drapes, or anything made from textiles. Like someone said all these textiles have a lot of chemicals in them.
Thought they were supposed to be fire resistant??
@@Eduardo_Espinoza
I started noticing the CA prop labels. I thought the same thing. I'd rather make my pajamas out of 100% cotton and take my chances.
@@Eduardo_Espinoza Flame retardant chemicals are a serious health hazard, they also don't help stop the spread of fire. Back in the day there were all kinds of regulations, especially in California, to make everything, sofas, car seats, with flame retardant chemicals but not so much anymore, not since they've found out how useless yet harmful they are. But most people just assume the sofas we buy have those fireproof chemicals in them. Not so much, thank God.
So many flammables and narrow aisles/stacks - super dangerous for our fire fighters.
Being a fire fighter in California is guaranteed job security.

If you're in Los Angeles on any day, you're smelling something.
Saying prayers for all
Did you really?
Nah, just for you.
The Fashion District is right next to Skid Row where hundreds of homeless people present all sorts of hazards, including fire. It was this that started the Getty fire a few years back.
Did you miss the report on how the fires were started? Apearantly so. Your comment is such a deadhead useless piece of vomit inducing trash. Yes, the filth, the lack intelligence, class & knowledge that you display is way, way worse than anything on Skid Row. You'll be one of the last ones to catch on but most likely you just wont. I really can't find the words and don't want to spend anymore time on such a vile AND ignorant f*cking person as yourself.
Oh shut up.
What I assumed. the dumpster fire LA has become.
Love how you blame the homeless and not the crazy environmentalist!! Or the owner who could have done this to get the insurance money. Wouldn't be the first time!
Don't make such ignorant assumptions!! The homeless are not likely to do this. As they know the dangers of it and it would chose people away. Believe it or not but the homeless are not the real problem.
My point is that there are at least 50 other reasons why that building could have caught fire.
@@jessicapearson9479 So what you're saying is a bunch of individuals who having pretty much nothing left in life to lose, absolutely wouldn't commit any sort of major crime because they're scared? Sorry, but that's not how people who don't have anything to lose typically act. Some of these people get themselves arrested so they can get basic amenities in jail.
when i think textiles i think chemicals. 😂

Good thing they have water to fight the fire...
that's pretty incredible. fire fighters are the craziest bravest people! i hope they stay safe on that roof, and that smoke is nuts.
It looks like a Cypress Hill concert out there. .
The skinny jeans and plus size spandex must put off a lot of smoke.

A fire? In a failed state? During a depression. That's not suspicious. that's just luck.
Luck or arson
Hey.....textiles is fabric not chemicals ....use water base dyes with fabric.
Synthetic fabric is basically plastic.
@brucewestoby,
FYI, not all fabric dyes are water based, and most of the fabrics today are treated with chemicals for one thing or another__like mattress fabrics and children's pajamas treated with fire retardants(go figure). 😒
Whoa! That was crazy when the flames burst thru the hole. Its weird when it did how the smoke around it appeared to get sucked back in and cleared a bit around the huge plume of fire. Hoping no one got hurt.
Backdraft
Fashion district, lots of polyester
Distraction from Maui fires.
That is a massive amount of smoke coming from that building.
As a former firefighter..that smoke is primarily soft materials which makes sense considering the venue..if it were cars for example,it would be dense black..shame just the same..
😮hhhh my!! This is really bad. I hope everyone is alright. Thanks so much, for sharing this w/us Fox11 Los Angeles.
Sound like business insurance is expected to just cover
THEY FOUND THE FIRE ALRIGHT
Shocker, real shocker. Who could have seen this coming?
All of that smoke, just from one Building?!
Holy cow.
The Rolls of Fabric are called Bolts (of Fabric)
So no one can name the textile business company name so we can research what fabrics they were selling? Just that there is massive amounts of textiles releasing chemicals into the air if they are synthetics, but no mention of the company name. This is ridiculous.
