My favorite passage is 1 Samuel 15, when god orders Samuel to order Saul to commit an act of genocide and SPECIFICIALLY mentions that god wants Saul to murder children and babies. And the ironic part is that after all that, god ultimately regrets his decision. So god is apparently not only a psychopath, but he's also pretty error-prone. Not exactly the type of fellow that anyone should want to follow unless you too support murderous psychopaths like the dude that committed the mass shooting at the bank yesterday in Louisville or that trans goofy that committed that heinous act in Nashville a couple weeks ago (sadly, yet ironically, at a christian school).

Or he never wanted Abraham to sacrifice Isaac and was just testing his faith while also showing in example of what was to come in sacrificing His only son for us. God ordered the genocide of wicked people, people who were already sacrificing their own children to a false god. So God killed those wicked people. You see killing the children as wrong, but what if all those children went to heaven. They have a much a better life, but had they lived, they probably would've become wicked or even sought revenge and went to hell. That could've been an act of mercy for all you know. Or maybe God was just testing faith again. You have to show that you love God, or choose to spend eternity apart from Him. Looks like you've made your choice though, hope that works out for you, truly.
