If i had an assembly with 2 or 3 parts out of which one is solid (eg: Fluid-Solid Intersection problem) how to approach for meshing. How to extract fluid and solid volumes from the CAD file in HM and mesh them separately. How to account for interfaces between those 2 domains. Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated sir. Dear, The unit is mm, hypermesh is unit less. During export mode you have to decide whether model is in mm or m. Layer thickness is not as per standard rule..just shown the example...how we can create inflation layers or boundary layer. Hypermesh provide calculator for 1st layer thickness calculation, one can calculate layer thickness by providing fluid properties, duct/chamber dimensions and flow characteristics.

The geometry is composed of a parallelepiped domain to which I made a Boolean operation to dig the airplane. I have successfully meshed the plane surface and domain walls, but I am unable to mesh the interior of the domain to create a tetra CFD mesh. How can I proceed concerning boundary selection, please?

Dear, Your problem statement (sentence) is not clear. How to apply for hex element - if you mean how to generate hex element then i would say for such geometry generating hex element throughout is not possible. If you are trying to prepare 2d model and importing in fluent then you need to follow different approach avilable on my channel. Perhaps it's mesh quality in element 185, but I don't know how to fix it...
In Hypermesh you are getting this Error?
As i know no such error code in Hypermesh.
You need to edit this element.
