THANK YOU MODDERS! Base game has so much potential...but BASE is what it is. Out of the box it should be called Tiny Scale Farming Simulator (TSFS). Without mods, for me at least, this game would have no staying power. Thank you GIANTS for making this a mod friendly game and adding incremental improvements along the way. They understand that modders extend and improve their game in a big way. For large scale farming, I still very much miss CoursePlay and AutoDrive...so really hoping they are in the works!
You can map a keybind to "toggle steering assist line visibility" in controls so you can toggle the guidelines on and off. Not quite as good as the GPS mods but helps.
I also got early access and they’re gorgeous, especially the interiors. 👌 Using them on Riverbend atm. 👍 Fast Farming is awesome, can’t wait for his Red Rock trailers. 🤩 You can hide the gps lines, you just have to set a keybind for it. 😉
I love the new steering with Controller, the tractors and just about any other drivable vehicle was impossible to steer before at any speed over 5 mph. I used a mod in FS22 called Adaptive Steering for the same reason, but now i dont need a mod for it :)
Been waiting for another episode of this, thanks! Had high hopes for the patch but there is still a lot missing and wrong. Experienced a lot of desync in multiplayer (20-30 ping) Walking around stuck on the spot until tabbing through vehicles. Bales that were strapped went back to the ground for the host. While others drove off with what looked like a load of bales. I still ended up with flashing on my screen after an hour of gameplay. (Fall Time - Riverbend Springs - 3080 GPU) Also, anyone else notice something strange about Karl Farms AFS Magnum Mod? Its not his, its just a copy of the base game one...Lol. Sigh, we'll get there one of these days....
Nice episode Scroft, it looked to me in the footage that you were taking some FPS hits near all those sheds. Did you notice it in game? Lovely sheds btw, very useful designs.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. That's a shame about the FPS. Hopefully, you can find a solution. The newer cards will be announced soon, and hopefully, that will drop the price of the current ones.
Scroft there is a mod on the modhub that will alter the steering in FS22 I have been using it for about a year and half now. but it is slightly better in FS25.
The new steering needs for sure some getting used to, sadly for me the patch broke the ground deformation done by helpers, they now dont do any deformation to the ground (except plowing). Sad a bit about it as this was the feature i was most chuffed about.
@@germanwarrior6463 Their weird report site not really seems to work for me sadly, i reported a bunch of stuff even tho it might be pointless as I'm running on Linux and they might not give it attention at all.
Not a fan of the update to the steering at all (playing on PS5, with a controller). I found upping the sensitivity to 200% put it back nearly to what it used to be.
@thisismyusername6717 Marcel at Giants who does the testing and QA said it's been changed to be more realistic. He mentioned that tractors aren't supposed to take corners at 40 mph 😅😂
Cant get Forestry Helper to show up in game, tried to rename the folder to, it says FS22_TreeValueInfo so tried to rename to FS25, but it doesnt show up to activate in mods, any idea?
@davidvanmol5199 agreed and the tractors with blurry screens and logos in the cab and blurred out tyres. Which seems to only be happening on hutan and riverbend springs
weres all the male animals giants failed again weres pro farming also ???? but great video scofft ps farmer andy is looking great with the knew hoff bermann map
Giants needs to fix the horrible grass and hay texture, so you can drive over it without knocking your teeth out. Not realistic and needs to be like the straw..SOFT! Not like driving over rocks!😖🤔
A massive shout out to all the modders because without them this game would fail.
👐💯

I agree so much with your comment. Thank you for your support!

Ahh thanks buddy! He's done a good job on them!

I definitely prefer it more realistic! Thanks for your support!

Definitely like the new steering on console (I did wreck my tractor twice trying to figure it out), but it’s more realistic, which is always better
It definitely took me a second to adjust to it but I think it is an improvement for sure. Thanks for watching!
nice looking sheds
They definitely are!
Great video Scroft!!
Thank you!
Something to consider. No generic seeds. You buy seed for what you are going to plant. You just can't change your seeder or planter in real life.

I found this video very informative, really enjoyed watching.👍
I really appreciate it thank you!
just letting you know Scroft You don't need to take the wool off if you levee it strapped it won't sell only unstrapped items sell.
Great video and presentation , Scroft 😃👍
I discovered that my GPU falls just short for FS25 and really mess up my preferred graphics settings. The FPS is between 30 and 45 atm. 🤬
I'm glad you enjoyed it. That's a shame about the FPS. Hopefully, you can find a solution. The newer cards will be announced soon, and hopefully, that will drop the price of the current ones.
"You wouldn't be surprised if it was basegame by giants" isn't the compliment that it once was lol
I’m with you on the dolly trailers absolute joke. 🙄🤣 great to see the red rock back pity it’s not auto load thanks for sharing it

Sounds about right, fix some stuff and break others 🤦🏼♂️
Did you report this to Giants?

Are there any good maps (Oxy, BulletBill level) maps into Giants for testing yet?
Any thoughts on the Liquid Lime mod by FearlessStudios?

Yup same. I was using 120% but now 200% basically feels the same. It is easier to lose control on high speeds tho so all in all it is worse
it’s not worse your just not used to it
now it’s much more realistic, as snowrunner is
@thisismyusername6717 Marcel at Giants who does the testing and QA said it's been changed to be more realistic. He mentioned that tractors aren't supposed to take corners at 40 mph 😅😂
Weird, I had the steering at 50%, got it at 80% now and I play on ps5 controller. It’s so twitchy above 100% don’t know how you play like that

I Find it harder to reverse with anything on the back.. :/ miight have to mess around with the sensitivity.
Love his work but with all lancyboi mods keep a back up folder on your desktop. We all know why.
Spent way too long getting the right custom colour for me tractor
They still havent fixed the graphics issues 🤷🏻♂️ that should have been the priority.
Textures glitching in the field is very annoying.

i watched 7 min you talking about a shed and just turned off, i mean you gotta think a little before making the length of content
