- Hello Everyone.
In This Video I will be Cutting ✂️ My Locs.
They have Gotten really long.
I am so Happy I was able to do All this on my own.
Unfortunately they are getting really heavy.
My Neck hurt all the time and my sleep is being aggravated by it.
My Mom and I Started My Locs almost 7 Years ok.
Oct. 30 would have been 7 years.
Its been a Great journey.

Yes it was time to cut them.
They were so Uncomfortable. When Sleeping.
No no no..I been with you and this journey when ur mom helped u do them and you had to retwist them in the same direction. 😢... Yet I understand. I cut 27in of my crown off to 3in and it's been a year. Have fun throughout your journey ✨️ ❤

What made you want to Cut your hair?
@AKIYIAKELLY yes I appreciate you. U taught me many of crochet styles and braids style. Unfortunately 😕 I had surgery and the anesthesia brought it out months later. My stylist washed it blow dry it n pressed it out. Measured at 31 at the most. Been growing it since 2012. I cry 😢 yet I know it'll grow back strong like it was. ❤️✨️

Its so different.
Man in 7-years they grew so long and fast! Im only about 13-months in hoping mine will flourish like yours! 🎉 . I was going to do 10-years to see where they are at then go from there. Just want to see how long they can get...but my ultimate goal is to be pass bra strap and stay there. Any longer just seem like they will get heavy and too much time for maintenance.

I remembered when you started your locs. I started my journey December 2017. I recently trimmed my locs on my 50th birthday back in June. They were almost waist length. I was going to go for a bob cut but I got scared lol. So I decided to cut about 3 inches off. My locs have grown since

But I get sick of things Quick...lol
So I didn't think that would work for me...
My Head already feel 5 times lighter just cutting the bit that I did.
How about yours?
Do your head feel lighter?
A little lighter. I still feel the weight when I wash them. I just like the look of my locs being a little shorter. I never know I might get bold and cut my locs into a bob lol. I enjoyed my short loc stage and I miss it sometimes
