Get the full power of Kali NetHunter by rooting your Android Phone. In this video I'll show you to root your phone so you can install Kali Linux and hack WiFi networks.
Disclaimer: This video is for educational purposes only. You root your device at your own risk. Do not attempt to root your device without understanding what you are doing. Rooting a device may void the warranty on the device and may result in the device not functioning correctly. You could also brick the device.

There are different versions of Kali NetHunter: NetHunter Rootless, NetHunter Lite and NetHunter. If you want to attack wifi networks (WiFi Injection) or use HID attacks, you need to use Kali NetHunter and that means that you need a rooted phone.

Didn't you miss mentioning an important thing? Some phones cannot have their bootloader unlocked; others require getting a special code from the manufacturer. So it's important people know in advance whether they can even do this at all before trying and failing. Also useful for people to keep in mind when getting a new device, as some will be unlockable some will not be.

David, can you confirm in your next video if the injection works on the internal Wi-Fi of the phone? Also, is it safe to use the Kali Nethunter marketplace on Android? I tested it, but it was buggy, and some of the apps could be malicious. I specifically bought the LG V20 H990DS for Nethunter because it has many features, such as an Infrared (IR) remote signal recorder and a removable battery. I would be grateful if you could make a video about rooting it, as it is the ultimate phone for pentesting when paired with Nethunter.

Hello, I am a new subscriber. I'd like to ask about what is the best custom rom you can recommend to install on my phone? My smartphone is an Oppo A3s. Thanks!

Thank you, Great content as always. It would be really appreciated if you could show how to do this on a non community supported model, e.g. a galaxy A72 or smth. If you could explain how to create a custom kernel and such. 🙏🏼

Hello David. Thank you for such an informative tutorial. I only have one problem: the links to the OnePlus firmware are no longer active. I'm looking for the UK version. Could you please suggest alternative links for HD1903? TA
