Didn't you miss mentioning an important thing? Some phones cannot have their bootloader unlocked; others require getting a special code from the manufacturer. So it's important people know in advance whether they can even do this at all before trying and failing. Also useful for people to keep in mind when getting a new device, as some will be unlockable some will not be.

Rooting should always be an option on Android, or at least, the offering of a model "root friendly" of a brand. Root may be risky for some things, but the advantages of rooting are enormous as well. I always search for rooting possibilities before buying a cellphone.
@@dawidvanstraaten xiaomi too. They even have a dedicated tool for unlocking bootloader and flashing official roms in case you fucked your phone while tinkering with it
It's EXTREMELY BOTHERSOME to use kali on your phone, even if it is on the supported list (speaking from personal experience). So much trouble that i decided to buy a raspberry pi and hook it up on a powerbank and make it a portable kali linux machine that i connect via ssh with my phone, and i dont regret it one bit.

David, can you confirm in your next video if the injection works on the internal Wi-Fi of the phone? Also, is it safe to use the Kali Nethunter marketplace on Android? I tested it, but it was buggy, and some of the apps could be malicious. I specifically bought the LG V20 H990DS for Nethunter because it has many features, such as an Infrared (IR) remote signal recorder and a removable battery. I would be grateful if you could make a video about rooting it, as it is the ultimate phone for pentesting when paired with Nethunter.
Great instructions just got my Oneplus 7 pro rooted. I ran into a couple issues but they were fault of my own. If I would of followed instructions accordingly I would’ve saved hours of frustration. 😂😂
sacrificed my old pixel 3 to try it out. The screen doesn't detect any touch now lol. Gotta figure out how to fix that. But everything else has worked. Amazing!

A tidbit.. in developer options, you can enable the "Advanced reboot" and when you hold the power button, you will have the option to click three dots in the top right. Select Bootloader (which is fast boot), and then you don't have to press power and up/down volume anymore.

OnePlus is a very Root friendly phone. Same for Pixel phones.
