    nice presentation but Mont Blanc is prononce Mon Blan, the t and the c are mute

    Branding ... on every single page! That is annoying in otherwise fine notebooks. Paper is OK but does not compare to Japanese notebooks.

    kinda lame that they put "montblanc" branding on every freaking page.

    Nice review and nice notebook, a bit pricy for a non-refillable notebook however.

    Agree these are excellent notebooks. I just bought a beautiful brown one at a Mont Blanc boutique for $65. My 1950s 146 writes beautifully on the paper. No bleed through or feathering. The ink color comes across more vividly than I've experienced when writing on other fountain-pen-friendly paper, particularly stationary.

    I’ve got nothing to say, this is an excellent review. Everything was very well executed and explained.

    Very nice, exudes luxury indeed. It might be cheaper to actually write on real money instead of this notebook however, lol.But at more than a hundred dollars US, I expect it to sing and dance as well. Excellent review as usual.

      After a quick test, we have found money to not be fountain pen friendly. Plus there isn't much blank space for actual writing. Mr. Paper does not endorse using money as stationery. ;) :)

      Wow! At this price point I would expect the ink not to bleed through.
      Total disappointment for me.

    Nice review!
    I was very disappointed that the ink bled through.
    Is there a notebook out there that doesn’t allow that? I have a variety of pens and was highly disappointed. My vision is not that great but I could see the ink pretty good.

    Why would anyone buy this? For 20-30 you have way better paper and for another 70 you have a reusable leather cover.
    Montblanc is to stationary what Bose is to audio.

    Do they have newer notebooks with more pages in the 149 or 146 size?
    I like the notebook to last 6 to 12 months with some daily use I like to have 180 or more pages.

  • @RobertMaguire67
    @RobertMaguire67 Год назад

    146….a nice compromise. The 149 is ultimate size…better paper and priced to empty your wallet.
