It's such a tragedy what's happened to the series. The creeper had the opportunity to become a new horror icon, but every film after two was so horrible. Definitely doesn't help that the creator of the series is also a real life creeper.
I feel like theres really only a small percentage of people who enjoyed the 3rd addition to the series, I dig it, 1 and 2 aswell. I don’t know about 4 tho id have to go watch it!
I read today that this man is actually a retired member of special forces. Apparently he even was there when Bin laden was taken out. Possibly, he pulled the trigger.

I personally enjoyed all the films.
They all have their place but the first couple were more towards scary whereas the third made me laugh a bit more.
