idk i don't really like the loging screen with NPCs moving. I like it plain Just like Classic/BC. That way it's clean tbh. We get so many cinematics and cut scenes these days, just keep the menu clean
Considering how annoying Sindragosa on the WotLK login screen got, no thanks. You'll barely see this screen for long these days anyway, unless you have a disconnect and don't/can't immediately reconnect. And I gotta say, one of the worst things about WotLK was forgetting to close or reconnect after a DC, as eventually Sindra would land and roar, very disconcerting if you weren't paying attention.
What weve come to know as the usual 10mins long login screens are in reality the "real" login screen theme that plays around 2mins and then they play a mix of all the expansions soundtrack. So far this is the first part with the other 8 mins being just a mix, I guess they havent done yet.
@@christtel1484 In the case of SL's login theme, the extended music went between the main themes for all of SL's zones, so I'd imagine it's also possible they cut this version short so the zone themes aren't spoiled before they're properly added.
Love it! + The Vanilla bits are appreciated! + The horns and overall theme used from the cinematic when Alex swoops in is just amazing (from about 1 min 45 s), among their best work yet. I honestly think that part alone should be expanded upon and used as the "real" theme of the expansion. Perhaps it is, after all this piece here is just the login music. Maybe there's another track called "Heart of the Aspects" or something. + It feels very fresh and inspiring, inviting heroes and adventurers to log in and play. + The opening 10s are a great start to the theme. It just feels right. It reminds me of some grand adventure film, like Brendan Fraser's The Mummy. Like we're going on a journey of exploration into a fabled and ancient land. - It's a little on the short side. It's okay for the in-game experience since you log in fast usually, but as somebody who enjoys listening to the soundtrack I actually like having these grand themes that encapsulate the feeling of an expansion and last for a bit. - For the first minute or so, you could hear these drums in the background. Best way I can describe them is that they sound like the desert theme drums from Diablo 2. It's probably meant to represent the more exotic theme of the Bronze dragonflight, but I don't think it blended in that well with the rest of the music here. - Like Shadowlands, it felt a bit like it's a collection of short clips from the rest of the soundtrack, as if they're no longer making full "themes" but rather cut pieces of music together to give players a taste of what's to come when they log in. IIRC, Russel Brower used to make fully fledged theme tracks that took you on a long musical journey. Those were great! But overall 8/10. Great music but potential for improvements in editing and duration. I wonder if Blizzard had the flying aces of WW1 and WW2 in mind when writing the final part of this theme? If you think about it, the dragons and dragonriders of Dragonflight are flying aces in a way. It does sound a bit Word War 2-esque.
Yeah ever since they took Brower off I've felt like the logins haven't been the same (BfA/SL). Glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed the transition from full epic going over the OST to just a remix of OST pieces. What upsets me most is that there's no ending climax in those logins, and I also don't notice one here, really. This one is neat and I like the take on the original theme at the start - you're exactly right that it has sounds reminiscent of flying aces, and I also get some Dreamworks vibes, but I have to disagree with the 8 as it is now - it's not great. Hopefully when they release the full theme on launch it'll have that conclusion. I have strong hopes - Jason Hayes very rarely has any Ls - in fact most of his work has been the most memorable and Warcrafty music period.
Sorry but this is really bland, the beginning sounds regular but then it becomes kinda soulless. Hoping this is a beta version since the duration is 3 minutes.
Guys i gotta say. Its been a hell of a ride. And just seeing this. the 10th login screen. seeing this game still alive when I started playing when I was just 8 years old. Hearing the login music. Knowing that there are more journeys ahead. A softy like me cant help but drop a tear. I love Wow. IM SORRY
...I cannot help but feel that once 1:37 kicks in the dragons that we've customised on our characters will come swooping in and vibe on our login screen. Just a feeling.
I really hope the faction beefing narrative is over. This login screen, this music? It makes me feel like a genuine adventure free from the childish wars and overdramatic doomsday events. I want the grounded, the simple, a high fantasy adventure into a majestic and mystical realm. Please no more make-believe politics, I just want adventure! Also, not expecting much but some love for the Netherdrakes would be cool.
esta muy buena, tengo que decirlo, empieza muy bien, y encima se nota como en cada expansion le dan ese toque para que quede bien con lo que tenga que ver la expansion en si.
At least some tunes referencing Shadowlands (the previous expansion) and/or BfA (the current expansion for new players). That's what LotK and Cata did, and that made them great
I can hear a LOT of references to How to Train Your Dragon and possibly also to LOTR (there's a few progressions that feel a couple notes short of busting into the main theme), and I really like it. This is the first login music for the game that hasn't sounded almost *exactly* the same as the other expacs before it to me, while still referencing the same overall theme. I do think the screen needs a bit more dynamism to match it, especially once the big sweeping (especially-HTTYD-y) part kicks in, but that's not a fault of the music. The other zones' music is gonna be nuts.
Is no one going to mention how short the login music of this expansion is? 2:50 vs over 10 minutes of other login musics. Or am I the only one that's not happy about this...
Still very much WoW login music, but much more epic than ever before. I think they should have started at around the 1:30 mark, but this and the login screen are such a nice welcome after all the darkness over the years.
No, it's still longer than the Vanilla theme. However, it is the second shortest in it's current state, but I'm pretty sure this is only the intro for it.

Login screens haven't impacted me as much as sindragosa did. Although I was like 9 during wrath and couldn't understand most if the stories concept other than "scary knight" is bad.
Cant say im a fan of this one, music team usually slaps but this lacks any weight to the music and is too short. (Edit: its been extended and is much better!)
Sounds like it is the first track that wasn't made with a real orchestra but rather made in a Software. Another piece of proof that WoW is going downhill.

This theme has an Ancient Roman feel to it, it could easily fit into a Rome: Total War or a Civilization. It's refreshing for WoW. I love it!
After so much war and destruction in the recent years it‘s beautiful to hear more optimistic tone in the music. I like it. 👍
I do love the part after the middle section just beautiful, and sounds like a new era
but not a big fan of all the drums around the beginning
It sounds like World of Warcraft is coming to an end.😐
Only things missing are ponies and rainbows and flowers here
@@andrewmatheson238 I love the drums! To each their own, though

I absolutely always love these login screen soundtracks. They always amplify my hype by like 1000.
Especially when taking your sweet time creating a new character.
this soundtrack brings back good positives vibes of WoW and it really gives me Mists of Pandara vipes cant wait for the expansion!
