A public servant thrown under the bus by a Trump-clone in UK.
It's sad for UK for the PM to disregard and allow abuses to be directed at an Ambassador for doing his job.

Well said he seams to be doing it to many of his civil servants, only on the basis of telling him what he does not want to hear! The truth.

There's your threat to democracy, right there.
If they didn't react like a bunch of pre-schoolers, Trump wouldn't have NEARLY as much fun being President.
He looks like he's actually ENJOYING this, which makes them even madder!
      I love that guy!

@@gazinta his presidency has exposed the left wingers/Democrats for what they are, elitist, depressed, mentally unstable, humourless and actual racists. See the response a black person gets when they dare think for themselves instead of go with the hive mind that the democrats created for them.

Shame that this capable man felt he had to resign. As one high-ranking US military man once said about diplomacy (paraphrased): 'Soft power is very important, if it isn't there, I'll need to buy a lot more guns'.

Looking back on this we can see just how correct Lord Darroch was, if anything, his letter was too conservative. He was supported by Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn but unsurprisingly Trump fan Boris hadn't a good word to say for his 40 years service. Slimy Farage, another Trump supporter also said he should resigned and followed up with saying he himself should get the job. I have a sudden wave of nostalgia for Theresa May, but only when compared with what followed.

What I hope to see is that new laws need to be introduced that make sure there are no shenanigans with future politics
I'm talking about fair and easy voting with no rezoning gerrymandering
Rules that remove the possibility of the likes of Barr emerging again.
And everyone held to account. No matter who you are.
Prevent the likes of trump and the current GOP sticking 2 fingers up too decency.
