this is probably one of my favorite melee-related content pieces in a long while. dont get me wrong i love tournament analysis, combo videos and fun slippi antics, but this video showcases the melee scene at its core: community. getting to see just a bit of the local chicago scene and the moments you had with kels really felt like we were along for the ride. would def love to see more of this!

Melee fans really appreciate your content bro, you’re one of the few true OGs with the respect that comes with that. We miss you, and melee content is scarce on YT. Toph hasn’t uploaded in months, scar has been long gone, golden guardians channel is done. That being said, totally understand if you don’t want to make videos anymore, you don’t owe anyone a thing. But it will be sad to see you go since you’ve been a real pillar of the community and one of the best personalities in the scene for so long

As one of the more outspoken Nintendo haters, you are an inspiration... but those you have inspired need help finding the best words to elicit and spread Nintendo hate. Another thing that would be nice is advice on how to talk to Smash players (of all games) about Nintendo, especially those who feel too attached to the company to take a stand-- in spite of the harm it has caused their scene.
I feel you on that! I felt really really attached to melee and started getting frustrated at the balance when I began taking it seriously. I have since "friendzoned" the game after trying to reconcile the more recent entries in the series being sterile, with my local melee scene being like 87% space animals and having a blast.
