It's nice to see other people have also noticed this woman is not only beautyful but also has such a soothing voice. I actually fell in love with her voice before I found out she also is a professional singer, but MAN, even when she speaks I feel like I want to hear her forever. COLIN YOU LUCKY SOB!!! ^_^

Alicja is so professional and beautiful! I would love to hear her speak Spanish and German. her English is so good it is hard to believe that she speaks 3 other languages fluently. hope she gets to start in some great films and develops a career of her own, and not be known as Colin Farrell's 'baby mama', which sounds horrible in my mind. I think they love each other and have Henry to love. they remind me of Clark Gable and Carole Lombard. just perfect together and so in love!
Funny, you can hear the irish beginning to creep into her American accent.

Read some comments and I have to say some are nasty. How anyone could say her English is poor and her vocabulary limited? C'mon! - be objective for once! Her English is great! Absolutely fluent. There are moments when she sounds typically American and there are also moments when she has some accent, a slight one. I've got a flash news for you though - everybody has one! The good thing is her accent is not typical Eastern European one, this thick, Slavic one with the rolling 'r' :-) Honestly, it's not that easy to place her accent at all, although, yes, one can say there's some.
I just want to say that the Polish accent is not like Russian with the rolling R like you say, Polish accent is much softer. Just FYI:)
To be honest that's how fluent polish person sounds. If you're well trained and speak long enough, the accent isn't as harsh as typically for a polish person, but on the other hand this is a typical accent, the one she has.
She is not Eastern European so how her accent can be Eastern European? Her accent should judge people who are bilingual first of all. I think that her English is very good 👍

@BonnieJoMasson you say this only because you know Polish people speaking fluent English. I showed this videoclip several times to my friends in the States, people who heard on a few occasions a typical Eastern European accent (some Russian and Polish people in Cali where I live), and they absolutely couldn't place her accent.

Joanna Pacuła zagrała w kilkudziesięciu amerykańskich filmach. W ciemno można powiedzieć że zna angielski świetnie. Gdyby dobrze poszperać znajdzie się więcej takich przykładów :)

Chyba jedyna Polka,która tak dobrze mówi po angielsku...W końcu ktoś, kto nie robi obciachu na arenie międzynarodowej.
Ona jest Zydowka a potem Polka. Podobnie jak Collin. To jest oczywiste, ze jesli ktos w czasach glebokiej komuny mogl wyjechac zeby uczyc na uniwersytecie poza granicami kraju to napewno to nie byl zaden Polak. To jest oczywiste. Wielu jest teraz takich w Polsce.

Tak samo jest z jej hiszpańskim. A czy jest zydowka czy nie, to nie ma chyba zadnego znaczenia. A bit insular for Sheridan not to know that she was far more famous in the big country of Poland and Central Europe than Colin ever was. A huge celebrity since childhood, more than Colin ever was even in Ireland.
Nothing against Colin, he's a fine lad but RTE should do a little research and expand beyond the Anglocentric world.
The filming should have been done in less freezing temperatures. What is it about Hollywood mogul producers that regard actors like property, like a prop? The scenes under water and in the small town of Ireland could have been shot anywhere. It's a shame that this beautiful woman had to be treated this way.
A lot of employers are like that most of us just make way less money to put up with that crap.

Never liked her... why? Because her acting is very theatrical and just watched this movie and yet again she is very theatrical not a movie actress. However I kind of liked the idea of her being with Colin and felt bumed up when they broke up, and yes her English is perfect.

Pikny akcent, ale od tych błędów gramatycznych to aż uszy puchną: present perfect nie jest do opisu przeszłości, koleżanko!
Alicja mówi, jak każdy młody Polak mieszkający kilka lat w US. Płynnie ale z silnym polskim akcentem.Gdyby miała native ngielski mogłaby grać amerykanki, a tak gra tylko obcokrajowców.

Jak można być tak sztucznym? Piszą, że jest międzynarodową aktorką, że jest sławna w Stanach, a prawda jest taka, że w Ameryce nikt nawet nie wie, że taka dziewczyna istnieje, a jeśli wie, to tylko dzięki jej romansie z Colinem/

Dlatego, że nie jest dobrą aktorką. Dobrzy aktorzy potrafią naśladować różne akcenty w zależności od roli. Prawdę mówiąc, to jakiś akcent powinna mieć, gdyż trochę już tam siedzi.
