I buried my son last November. I was 19 when I gave birth to him and we grew together and he took care of me as a single mom. I'm 60 years old now and the years just flew by in the blink of an eye. This song made me cry so hard, especially when they were hugging. What I wouldn't give to hug my son right now. Thank You Kate for this joyful and uplifting song!

Nobody is going to talk about how she made a sacrifice for her child? She actually waited for him to have a life of his own to add more to her plate. Singing was something she always wanted to do and it wasn't until her son was off to doing his own thing that she gave herself that chance. 😭😭😭😭 I'm in tears, because most celebrities won't do that for their children. 😭😭😭😭 I really do wish her all the success in the world. She deserves it. And she can actually sing, which made the sacrifice even more profound.

Some of us talented female humans have made over 400 videos of songs at 51 years old and nobody cared because we aren't blonde and already famous or Goldie Hawns daughter. You people do not care about music you care about jumping on the current fad train. If you cared about music you would walk away from this karaoke and go find a small musician channel that actually needs support from other humans for their real talent.
Back in the day, my friends were crazy for Carmen Electra, Britney Spears, and Alicia Silverstone. Kate was always my conversation go to for "best looking" girl. After admiring her sacrifice to raise her own offspring, I still stand by that decision. When Kate smiles it's like her eyes smile too. I can confirm that after 25+ years I have only seen two smiles I love more than Kate Hudson's. Both are my own kids. Keep going Kate. Make your family proud. They're the only ones that matter.

Just like the ending of the video. My son walked out our front door with his backpack on. Going out that night to celebrate his 21st birthday. A few hours later, there was a loud knocking on my door. The police were there to tell us that he had been struck and killed by a train. This was the first time I ever watched this video. I cried all the way through it but I wasn’t expecting the ending at all😭I was only 23 when I had Bryan so we kinda grew up together 🙏🙏🙏🙏
