    3 Step Miracle:
    1. Written list of exactly specifically what you want that you put effort into; be very honest with yourself.
    2. Read list 3x a day, morning noon and night.
    3. Tell no one. Keep silent. Do not let your list be known. Your private intimate experiment.
    4. Express gratitude when results arrive.

      When you say, be honest with yourself, how can one be dishonest about what one wants ?. Would specify what honesty you mean, regarding this law of attraction ?. If I say to me, "I want a new car". Is that honest enough ?. I know that's a cheesy example, but, it works. I realize the "I want" part, means I'm admitting to myself that I do not possess the thing I want.

      Mitch Horowitz you are a great orator. Everything you said was spot on. However, you were giving examples n the "Golden Rule" was one. This is not the perfect ethical backbone. Remember, some do not mind having evil done onto them. Hence the philosophy is flawed. I would like to take credit for this piece of predicate logic. It comes from the mind of Carl Sagan

    The Host and Guest Speaker are so well aligned on the Subject.
    To be a truly good interviewer, one must be studied on the subject, prepare the clear questions, *be an attentive listener,* and reiterate the discussed material to demonstrate accurate interpretation - for the audience. This is done quite well here.

    He has a point, keep you vision of what You want to do in life. Just first take care of your financial needs first. I like to keep my feet planted in the ground while my head in the clouds. work that shit job and grind. think outside the box. Keep faith ,There are only two things you need to be successful persistence and motivation. The rest will come in time. The definition of insanity is repeating The same thing over and over and expecting different results. Anyone who is truly successful has to subject them selfs to a level of insanity that others will not. (Insanity=success) The Passion and the will to thrive and never give up is the equations needed be successful with anything. You have no limits only the ones you impose on yourself. Keep an optimistic perspective This will enable You to push past the barriers that hold you back.

    Thoughts are causative. Nice that Mike says that we have to account for multiple "laws" and that accidents are part of this plane of existence (from the standpoint of collecting experiences on the 3-D earth plane). I think Mitch is right in saying that there is a tendency in the LOA movement to summarily and callously judge other people' painful experiences, which "must be created by their thoughts" and hastily ascribe to these a "greater" meaning/lesson, coming from a place of "non"-empathy. In my opinion, the issue resides in the callousness and mindlessness of these judgments under the cover of "enlightened" understanding, not in the veracity of the statement itself. My understanding is that thoughts are causative, yes, but only to the extent that they are one of the manifesting forces at work here on the earth plane. The others being: unresolved past-lives karma, ancestral and cellular memories, the collective unconscious, the personal unconscious/subconscious, pre-incarnation soul family contracts, and ultimately our higher-self and source. It is very likely that a tug of war/love exists between all these forces, and that in that respect, our "conscious" thoughts might just be flies on the elephant's back. Only when we find alignment and are in the flow or vortex, can life feel great, even though the challenges presented to us are there. Namaste brother.

      Doesn't really matter how we look at it, accidents are a cause by self. You may crash your car due to sleepiness. Which in turn is due to poor diet, or just not sleeping enough, or living in a noisy house so you get wakened up often by people/noise outside, having toothache, etc, etc, etc. These are all ultimately down to our choice, which is governed by our state of mind. As our awareness wakes so too does our own freedom to make real choice. So much of what people term choice is really just a reaction of the past. We have to wake up, otherwise our life is like a game of pool, with many many player whacking the balls here, there and everywhere. As with life in the sense of the whole Universe, there is ultimately one cause... and it doesn't matter what name we give that. One last point to make, what is thought. Thought is not just the words chattering away in our heads. Thought is the whole movement of word, image, emotion, feeling... and how we relate to all of that. That's why we manifest whatever in our lives that we do. It is about our own state of being emerging, just as a flower cannot but flower, given the right circumstances. So, change your mind and your life has to change.

      @raindrops4788 Месяц назад

      @@edclear9215it's true we need to stay positive and grateful..but you can't control life and and you can't blame yourself for things when they go wrong.. when "enlightened" people talk like that they don't think of real tragedy. And they don't think in the complexity of spirituality..

  • @edclear9215
    @edclear9215 5 лет назад +1

    36:15 Michael says "Thoughts are not causative". However, if we understand thought we understand that thought is memory. If we understand memory we understand that memory is not merely the ability to recall but an active process in itself; one of relationship of the collective self. No one can have absolute control as life is a series of action-reaction, play off-play to, etc. It's the same for all. So I may decide to attract whatever into my life but the play of that means that there is a play with others, and those others can change the whole play itself too!
    People have tried the total control game; going off to a cave in the mountains, ceasing to actually live a life of relationship, becoming so fixated on self that no one around matters unless they serve the goal. Groups of people have tried it too; religions, political parties, science, etc. All these types who seek control live a life of total abuse. In all cases we see that their control is the ultimate delusion; one of complete dependency upon others. So control ends up as the greatest limitation one can impose... upon self or others.
    Understanding thought and manifestation is not about controlling ones life, but allowing our true self to emerge just as a flower emerges from a seed. Whatever the seed is, it has to manifest as it is. So if we are chaos inside, chaos manifests. Likewise, if we are fear, challenge will manifest.
    All the fleeting thoughts do contribute to reinforce our overall consciousness, unless we see these for what they and allow change. So it's not so much that we'd be overwhelmed as Mitch says, but that we do have to gain clarity. Without clarity people have the lives they have; illnesses due to following misinformation... think the junk food industry pushing their products, think the chemical companies pushing theirs, the tobacco industry pushing their, etc, etc, etc. Most illness is completely unnecessary and the only lesson to be learned from that is consume the correct fuel which feeds the body with as little harm as possible.

    If Mitch comes back to read these comments from time to time , can he give an example of the list he is talking about ? I mean there is so much I want in my life but I don’t know how detailed it should be and how long. Just a few main things? Here is my issue : might sound lazy but I wish I didn’t have to work for a living . Not because I am lazy but because anything , even something you might love to do , becomes a burden and chore when it becomes something you have to do to have a home and food to eat. I want to become really good at playing the piano but it would become a stress if it became something I HAD to keep up with because I have bills to pay and no longer a passion. (And unless you were a master at it , you can’t really make good money let alone great). I sometimes daydream of winning the super lotto so I can quit my miserable low paying job. I was trying to make it as a realtor but I do not have much money left over to invest in advertising myself. Not because I want to be a realtor but because it’s about the only thing that has potential to make decent money without a four year degree. I figure if you’re going to hate or not like your job, at least you better make sure it pays decently to make up for it. Because for me , it’s not so much about working doing what I love but more about the options the money will give me to be able to do the things I want to do (hobbies , classes, some traveling ) beyond the work hours. I mean no one is going to pay me to play with puppies and kittens at the shelter all day (and if they did, of course it would not be much at all ).
    If you’re reading Mitch , I would really love an example. Thanks !!

    I don’t agree on his view on accidents to be honest. It’s very much his POV. He seems like a very deep guy. But he’s giving conflicting points. It’s like you are only “partly in control”....the mind creates some of your life...then random things happen?
    I don’t believe anyone is a victim. You would know you are going to be in a natural disaster before you come into the body. There is no time outside the earth....It depends if he believes in reincarnation or not....
