  • Simone encountered raptors while paragliding in the skies above New Zealand, and it has been love ever since. Assisted by Janice, his Harris Hawk, Simone explains the importance of balancing nature and life through working with falcons.
Simone Cilluffo was born near Torino. He has traveled New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Laos, and France. He now lives in Italy, in the Tuscan countryside.
His hobbies are paragliding, cooking and walking in the forest with his dog, Django. He is an experienced Falconer, working with falcons to control bird problems and doing falconry shows in markets and fairs around Italy. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
