Nicely done Rev. Never tried that kind of stoke before. Going to give it a shot this weekend once I get some new materials. Thanks for the vid and God bless!
Great! I'm gonna learn your method on my Hultafors knife! They are cheap knives and the are very sharp, but i didn't know how to sharpen its scandivex edge. Thanks!
Wish I would have known this trick before making my swamp romper a straight scandi. Excellent video, sir. Do you have any suggestions on a relatively affordable convex knife? Also, is there any benefit to taking a ffg and making it convex?
thanks for the video, just curious and maybe i missed something. but why the sand paper? instead of a stone? is it just cheaper material? Anyway thanks for the video and the info.
Matt Schlottmann can't get a stone to curve or give. The slight curve is what makes an edge convex vs a bevel. Stones can do bevels and scandi, but not convex
Thanx Rev, awesome vid

A. Q. Cool! With a little time and patience, you should be able to get them razor sharp
Awesome work I will definitely be investing in some materials and trying this out!!
AverageJoe_EDC 👍🏼 it's not that hard to get a great edge like this
My preferred method as well. Touched up my Leatherman Sidekick, main blade while watching YT? last night.👍
Mostly humble 1 cool! Thanks for watching

Matt Schlottmann the sandpaper gives and conforms to the leather underneath
