Ill be doing my first journal next year and i still have no jdea exactly where to start but seeing this option of a journal has helped because it means so much of what i wanted to squeeze into my monthly or daily/weekly can go in here....easing so much pressure
As someone who is also 'starting' next year, I have a tip for you: start now. Get an old notebook or smth with some leftover blank pages and just... try things out. I've begun doing this about two weeks ago, and it's really helped me with the anxiety and pressure of 'starting my first journal in the new year' by already finding out a few things that do and do not work for me. Also, Jess has a bunch of videos on how to start and even more on spread ideas, so uhh I think you're in the right place here :)
@@Nilaues that's such a great suggestion, and I think I will do that. I am sure I must have a book with some spare pages somewhere. I am so stoked that I've found this channel, my eyes are open lol
@JashiiCorrin just glad I found you, thanks for doing what you do as it's so inspiring and helpful. Finally, someone who actually wants the journal to both work and be aesthetic. So happy 😊
Thank you for the look at the swatches, I've been really struggling for a long time to find very light brush pens but now I have some idea of what sets to look for
I like to think you posted this because of my comment on yesterday’s video and you REALLY want me to do this 😊 - loving the daily content, I know it’s a lot for you to do but it’s very much appreciated!!
As I don't have an extraordinary busy life and my book has 192 pages, I have combined my yearly (at the front) and long term stuff (haven't started yet at the back) in the same book. That might not happen because of my Black Friday sale haul is 'huge' (15+ books) and don't want them to waste gathering dust.
@ Yes, I was cramming everything in my everyday books (x2 per year + the other one) until Dec. Thanks to the Black Friday sale I’ll be using several books & Erin Condren/bujo inspired dailies. So excited.
Great video! I’m with you on the Acrylograph pens… I was sure I would love them but ended up getting rid of all of them because they are exhausting to constantly care for and clean the tips… Love this BUJO idea ❤
I love the swatches. I'm trying to set one up now for my fountain pen inks, but I'm using index cards for the thicker paper. I have a weird disfunction where I can't always separate yellow and green (and I do use my pens as highlighters so I have a lot of yellows and gold inks), so I'm quite impressed at your firm decision making capabilities! Would you have metallics separate, or blended in with the color, such as silvers would go under greyscale?
@@JashiiCorrin But, it fills the space nicely. 😉Plus there's lots of your alternate persona (aka social media maven) related stuff in the book, so it could be hers too. 😋
Would have been a good option, yeah! I've actually moved into a new swatch book with its own index now though, but a good idea for any future build-from-the-back collections 🤔
The book isn’t going to waste 😛 those pages will get used as my next R&D notebook 🤙 Plus, gluing all those pages together would mean I can’t reference them in later videos. Even if I don’t want to use them, they can still be good inspiration for others 👏
Would love to see how you store your pens, inks, and stamps.
The short answer is "poorly" but that's because I need to do a major declutter 😂 certainly a video type we can look into though! 💪
And which ones are most-used, especially the Tombows!
I'm loving the daily content.. I've been binging your older videos since yesterday 💜
Glad you’re enjoying Vlogmas 🥳💜

Glad the long-term collections journal seems like a cool idea for you! 😄 Exciting that you're getting into your first journal next year 🥳

Having the yearly and long-term together is a great idea 💪
What a great way to do it! May I ask. Do you do the same with monthly/weekly goals or only your long term?

@missbilbybadinage1199 that sounds like such an exciting step for you, you have figured out how you want to move forward 😊 love that for you
@ thanks 😄
Very informative. Thank you

Glad I'm not alone on the great-in-theory-not-in-practice for the Acrylographs 😝💜
Omg him I'm such a big fan an I love we journaling u gained another sub :)
Glad to have you here with us! 😄💜

I'm thinking of creating some kind of long-term trackers for my writing.
Oh nice 💪 Would those go in a journal like this, or more likely in your regular everyday journal? 🤔
21:56 Do a playlist if you want to!
At some point I probably will 😛👌
Visually, you can fix the name plate imbalance by adding "Jashii" to the other side.
But that’s like calling me Moon Moon 😂

Why don’t you include a color swatch index at the back? Then you don’t have the index problem at the front ☺️
Would have been a good option, yeah! I've actually moved into a new swatch book with its own index now though, but a good idea for any future build-from-the-back collections 🤔
Quick question, followed your Amazon fav link, but don't see the bullet/marker pens. Can you drop the link please
You can find those over at amzn.to/41n5wjw 😄💜
You can just glue those Page together, it fells like the waste of a good note notebook...😮

I get so irked when I write my name off center too! Trying to be clever and artistic but it ends up looking unappealing.
Yeah I just really wish it was centred 😝
