I ran in this race; it was my 1st marathon (of 21 races) and the hardest race I ever ran. The temperature was in the high 80's by midrace, and my legs cramped so bad, it took some medical personnel about 20 minutes to end the cramping (first the quads, then then the hams, back and forth). I finished the race (although terrible time), then had to walk several miles back to my car. It was a bitter-sweet moment, and it gave me the drive to work harder and break 3-hours. Thank you, NYC Marathon!
I went to watch this race , I went out the night before and decided i would go I took a bus on little sleep when I got there I went to central park fell asleep when i woke up some how i saw him stop, i dont know how many time he stopped in the park but I saw that and thought he was crazy.
