Absolutely brilliant =) You can be really proud of your conversion. Now the Golf is fit for the future. Runs on your own electricity and not on e-fuel or any of that rubbish. Thanks for sharing and I hope that youtube finally suggests your videos better =)
Great work, now you'll be looking for an auto brake pedal. 🤣 I didn't bother and just pushed my clutch pedal all the way in so it's still there but I don't even see it.
@@flyingtools yea, I don't use off pedal regen for that reason. I have brake pedal regen, so initial movement of brake pedal brings on regen before pads touch. Some people have suggested using the old clutch pedal to disable regen for shifting
Interesting. 😃👍🏻What kind of controller do you use for that? Together with a brake pressuresensor and some coding by Isak in the ev-resolver this should definitely be achievable to I guess. But for now I’m pretty happy with 3stage of regen. It is just to turn it off if I like to shift. But it’s easy to forget😅
Again my respect for the fantastic work! I was super impressed how high the e-motor spins up- Do you know how many RPMs it makes - sounds mich faster than a combustion motor!
It nice to work under a car thats not trying to put dirt and oil in your eyes all the time. You just answered one question I had about my planned conversion. Just wondering if the change would be even smoother if you made the old clutch pedal push a switch to temp turn off the regen .
That takeoff was a lot rough.🤣👍 My car can't do that. Would I turn off the ASR😁 If at all possible🤔 I wonder how long it's gonna last now that it's hardwired. Might need two flanges with some misalignment compensation.
I seem to remember that you spent a long time aligning the motor to the transmission, but this time seemed to be quicker. You just added your coupler and retightened the bolts. Is that because the bolts holes are precisely aligned, so you don’t need to do subtle adjustments to centre the shafts?
Med ett lagom tryck på växelspaken så är det bara att vänta, då ramlar växeln i av sig själv till slut. Sen underlättar det om man förstår hur en växellåda fungerar.

Thank you so much for those kind words.
And yes, I really hope that RUclips can start to give me some help here.
People like u give me hope, thank u🤜🤛
Haha, thank you so much☺️
Great you finally did it - less complex, more better 🙂
It really is.
Fantastic job! Just bought a Mk1 Caddy and you've reminded me of previous EV conversion daydreams I've had.
Thank you 🙏 Mk1 caddy is so cool 👌🏻

Haha, exactly the same here 😅
Det där blev ju riktigt nice, gott att slippa kopplingen! 😃👌
Då är det bara att fortsätta att njuta av att tuffa runt i pärlan! 😎😃
Fy faan 😜du måste vara så
Nöjd o stolt över golfen.😁👍
Men du är ju duktig på allt
Du gör.härligt att följa dig i dina filmer 😎👍heja heja
Tack så jättemycket ☺️ Su kul att höra🙏
Changing gear with a solid coupler is still pretty easy. I just give gentle pressure and increase revs until it just slips in to the next gear.
Yes, it really is but it is a lot harder when you are in one pedal drive mode😆
Not recommended…

Haha, yes it was fun😅 I’m more worried about how the gearbox all together will hold up after some launches 😅
Snyggt jobbat 🎉
Tack😃
Good work
Thank you 🤩
Hi, congrat! What is your plan with the car long term?
Car shows, and daily driving during the summer.
@@flyingtools Cool! Could you please share with me your e-mail address to discuss little bit more about this?

@@flyingtools ah, yes. I remember the pins now!
Now next step, convert your gear to an automatic gear ;) Some servos, some sensor ....
Yeah, just because it’s fun right🤣
