I believe that Chara had been abused or some sort during her time above ground, and in a kind of depressing strain, tried to commit suidice by throwing herself into the mountain. I believe that she starts off more neutral, unsure. On the edge of good or bad, and depending on what you do, she either finally lies to rest after experiencing true good(Pacifist), loses hope and herself to the darkness of everything(Genocide), or is left in-between still, undecided and alone(Neutral).
I really love the attention to detail in the shadows and lighting. I can feel Chara's questioning in moral choices, and I just. Can't stop looking at this. It's amazing. You're amazing. Well freaking done.
I love the theory that Chara isn't evil And the only reason they want to erase the timeline in the genocide run is because they don't want to live in a world where everyone they loved is dead

The way you shaded the red bow was really awesome. if i had one thing to add is that the harsh white on chara's hair kinda looks harsh, and usually when shading w white you might want to use a light pink maybe mixed with grey. other than that this is done so well???? the composition really blew me away. also, you have commendable patience. i wouldnt be able to take a concept sketch from traditional to digital even if i tried because id get bored with it.
aaa thank u i rlly appreciate the critique! and yea i mainly do all my sketches traditionally first just cause it feels weird trying to do it digitally for some reason? like i think the way pencils catch on paper makes it an easier medium for me, while on digital everything is slip sliding all over the place

try what? im srry i dont exactly understand what you mean by try it, do u mean like,,, just making a traditional sketch and then doing digital over it?? cause if so of course! u don't need to ask my permission! i kno other people do there pictures like that too!

um well, its my own art, made by me??? specifically made to be used as a sketch layer when converting mY OWN ART to a digital format??? basically the traditional layer im doing lines over in this speedpaint is serving the exact same purpose as the digital sketch layer ive done the lines over before in other speedpaints, there's only one difference between the two and thats that the traditional layer here is more finished, an actual complete picture. but its a picture I completed, traditionally, and then took a picture of, i transferred that picture to a digital art program, creating a digital version of the original piece by working off that original traditional version. so yes i do technically """trace art""" but not in the hushed taboo art theft sort of definition of the term, the picture im "tracing" in this pic, and the finished digital piece, were both created by me, i gave MYSELF permission to trace MY OWN ART
