Well JYP first gets idols to sing in there natural range before expecting them to hit harder notes or more challenging notes. Hybe just expects their singers to sing whatever songs they have already pre created and planned with the exact key, tone, and pitch they want.
Exactly I remember when he was doing A2K he did emphasise on wanting idols to sing more naturally in their "talking voice", so he really understands what songs they can and can't do!
He sadly experienced it first hand and well, probably still does. But it made him a better producer for it, so that's great. Also seeing how many ex idols seem to hold him in good regard is refreshing 😊

HYBE trained them to sing naturally for YEARS (or for some, months, which is why Wonhee is able to do well) but now: - Minju was told to sing lighter - Iroha was pushed to sing highnotes out of nowhere (remember there are altos, not only sopranos) BUT with a high-pitched, still good sounding tone - Moka already sings high-pitched but still was forced to sing EVEN MORE high-pitched which destabilizes the vocal control - Yuna sings perfectly and has great control when dancing … buttt … was made to sing very high-pitched (her tone is deep) to fit the concept

For an analogy, you could say expecting a sculptor to paint an amazingly realistic painting, or a gymnast to dance a complicated choreography. When we disco is within their range and the choreo is smooth and slow so they aren’t straining while out of breath, that why a lot of 2nd gen choreo are easier. Hybe think everyone is jk( for anyone that going to hate O am not saying jk is an amazing singer just that he’s the standard for hybe vocally), seungkwan and dk and can do hard choreos will sounding relaxed without thinking of all their unique vocals ranges and personal vocal strength but most that that sweet soft pop vocals
Yes, sometimes in choreos the one who sings dances less so they can sing fully, in illit's choreographies it's mostly not the case so they have to do sometimes big moves while singing songs that aren't made for their vocals

I actually feel like jyp has a great recognition of individual talents and he always focuses on what the individual idol can do and treats his artists way better than how hybe is treating its artists rn.. because most of the hybe artists don’t get to show off their talents and how far they can go with their talents. But jyp does let his artists go far with their talents and skills.. that’s the thing I really love about jyp.

definitely not respectful, but SM and JYP obviously know what they’re doing. people forget just because BTS brought HYBE up doesn’t mean HYBE ever had the talent to bring other idols up. They throw out new groups like crazy every other month and expect us to just like them. You don’t see none of the other 2 of the big 3 doin this.

we all make fun of jyp but in the end he really is an amazing founder and trainer. he actually knows what their ranges are and how he could prove to people illit can sing. he didnt try to force them to do a popular clout chasing type song but instead gave him something both to promote him AND illit which is what a collab is all about

Realmente me gusta el trabajo de JYP, he seguido su trabajo en TWICE y especialmente de ITZY en donde creo que más destaca el trabajo en sus ídolos, es exigente y sabe cómo hacerlos llegar a sus objetivos pero no se excede y respeta sus límites; además creo que la libertad que él se ha tomado de experimentar en piel propia ser artista (aunque les cause gracia) lo hace un excelente consejero. Igual reconozco que tiene una mente muy abierta en cuanto a su percepción sobre sus trainees (en apariencia y habilidades es honesto pero no desconsiderado, les muestra las herramientas que tienen y cómo las pueden usar, conoce a sus chicos) a diferencia de quienes están a cargo del entrenamiento de los idols actualmente.

Lebih bagus nyanyi kayak gini, atau kayak lagu Smarter-lessera, pokoknya yang mid aja deh, mereka itu bukan penyanyi soprano, mereka alto - mezzo soprano.
