I lived where, there is badminton coach and no one wants to play badminton, very few people playing badminton here...in that condition for learning badminton point of view your videos are amazingly helping me....🙏🙏 Thank you so much...🙏🙏
3:37 Jenn smash so smooth. Greg is still good. But Jenn looks more smooth. Obviously Greg smash is stronger.. both of you really help alot player all this year s. Thank you so kich
This is good stuff here !! I appreciate you outlining how many shuttles to use and also to push the intensity I definitely need to do more training with shuttles. But it’s hard when you have limited court time and also if you don’t have anyone that can feed as well as you two can ...
Haha, it might seem like you're deciding our video schedule but we actually have a video planned for people struggling with this 😆 Coming in the next few weeks!
Yes, finally a training video blog that shows how to do shuttle feeding technically speaking. You guys are fast on court😮. Hope I can see u play with world top players in BWF tour events. I know it's very hard but nothing is impossible!
Thank you so much! Glad you found it useful 🤗 Yes we hope so - Greg is playing the Thomas Cup in a few weeks and then we are both playing the Denmark 750 tournaments straight after that... Looking forward to competition again!
Another great video (as always)! A suggestion for a possible future video is how you both feed the shuttle so well. Holding 20 shuttles and feeding them consistently is something I struggle with when doing training with a partner, so some insights from the pros would be very helpful.
I am absolutely loving your dedication to your channel, on top of your regular athlete-life so keep it up! Questions for you two. Traditionally the girl is at the front and the guy is at the back, but there will be times when the opponent will force the opposite to happen. 1) Do you two do cross training and role reversal for such situations? E.g. girl in the back w/ jump smash, guy in the front w/ net kills. 2) Are you seeing more XD pairs employing the non traditional skill sets in competitions nowadays compared to in the past to become better all rounders, or are traditional XD roles still very much the thing to do?
Thank you very much, we will definitely try! To answer your questions: 1) Yes, absolutely! We sometimes start routines with the girl at the back to train for this situation, and the aim of the practice is for the girl to either get the guy involved at the net to kill it, or to rotate back to the front of the court! 2) I would say so yes! An example of this who springs to mind is Chris Adcock - he really likes to play a mid-court drive on his forehand and he will continue to put pressure on the opponents by following this into the net and Gabby then slightly moves off to allow Chris to come forwards. They have definitely won many points by doing this!
In all honesty, yes a little bit! Going on runs, bike rides and doing shadow was great to maintain a good level of fitness but nothing is quite like playing badminton on court!
Could you upload some doubles footwork routine videos as well? Something like the plan you uploaded at the end of the video + video demonstrations. Because at my uni I often want to train for doubles but the good players don't come very often. So playing doubles with beginners is pretty non beneficial
May I know whether the mutifeed programme on your website are suitable for beginners like myself? I am not half as fast as y'all in the youtube clips. You guys are crazy fast! I am hoping to buy them but thought it's best to ask you guys before purchasing :)
We'd probably put it down to a good coach drilling it into us when we were younger 🤣And also we've probably realised it's a more efficient way of moving over the years rather than having straight legs and smaller steps!
Awesome, really cool to see you guys training too! One question I have though, I don't currently jump smash, I know this could come with practice, presumably the jump smashes could just be substituted for regular smashes?
Hi there! We've just released a new video showing 4 exercises to improve your net play - especially speed and sharpness! You can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/X1_u-GQUgQg/видео.html

I notice you both have a wide base while moving to the shuttle and in rocovery, is this something you work on or just naturally gifted

hi guys! I guess I am your fan now :)) How do you recover after intense training, do you do stretching?
Haha thanks Anton! 😁 yes we do a few things - stretch, massage gun, and make sure we refuel properly!

456 Shuttles? Did you count them? Ha
