It's not only because he supported her all time you can have a friend who supports you doesn’t mean you have to fall in love with him but I am saying is the spark that Taichi and chihaya has on each other is like more than friends thing..... they both understand and knows each other and they are like puzzle pieces they fit together

Claro que si va a funcionar, la temp 3 nos demostró que ya chihaya y taichi no estarán tan adentrados en el karuta por lo que puedo decir que chihaya intentará alcanzar una gran profesión mientras Arata estará jugando en equipos y Taichi estará consentrado en su profesión sin embargo chihaya se centrará en él y intentará buscarlo ya que nunca pensó que él se iría de su lado, justamente por eso le parecía más importante Arata, ya que él siempre estuvo lejos e incluso en la temp 3 nos enseñan que Chihaya ha abierto más los ojos y ha notado el cambio de Taichi e incluso le importó más su confesión y lo buscó cuando se entreró que dejó el club, e incluso ella por eso también lo dejó, mientras que Arata solo ve las cosas de lejos y ve que en esta ocasión no va a poder hacer nada lo cuál significa que él encontrará un nuevo amor o una amistad significativa como la de Chihaya y Taichi en su nuevo grupo_ Esa es mi Teoria_Like si piensas igual😌
TBH I don't care about arata and chihaya anymore. I just want taichi to be happy. I really wanted both taichi and chihaya to end up together, but the manga is made only to show the love story of arata and chihaya. If it were for real I am sure taichi is the best character in the whole series. Let's hope he really end up happily🤍🤍

After losing him, she always imagines for our boy to be with her side although Arata is been with her instead of Taichi, Arata can't instead of Taichi in her heart, only his words can push ups her (and Arata realized this either) and then, Chihaya reallized her feeling towards him. For me Arata is more like an idol for Chihaya, the one that she want to catch ups also Shinobu. Chihaya in other's eyes just a grade 6 girl in her 18 years old body, she too focused in Karuta that made her never learn anything else both real life common sense and education, the subject that she really good at is PE which can improve her physical skill for karuta, both Nishida and Komano state that it so hard for Taichi to be with a girl like her. But Taichi love her for so long long time more than grade 6 and still love her no matter how time goes by, no matter she love him or not he still love her. So, How can Arata in place of him.
You know...I love this show. For the sportsmanship and characters, but....(SPOILER ALERT!) this pains me....how could she sideline Taichi till the very end!?!?! Just how?!?! He grew so much over the years. From that cocky kid to a strong leader and friend. I was hurt when by the end of s3, she really couldn't find it in her to see him in a romantic light. And that's honestly better than him being strung along but damn, I was hurt on his behalf🥲

No thanks, the writer seems to just want to make a tragedy, and make this guy suffer so much. I don't care for these tragic endings at all. And the fact that Taicho seems to have no chance at all, makes me not want to watch this, and hate Chihaya.
