Re: Upgrades For 30 gold chunks you can upgrade your pickaxe and shovel to a gold version. This makes them unbreakable, and the gold shovel is the best melee weapon in the game.
Essential Tip #6: Go into the Options/Settings and map Tactical Mode to something like an extra mouse button. The tutorial doesn't even tell you it exists, but it slows down all combat to about 25% regular speed, and you can use it anytime. It really helps to make up for the clunky aiming system.
I was here asking myself why no one was telling this, so that is why. With a controller it i the same button as the skills (RB on x-box cotroller) so I was using it from the get go
Tip #6: To knock and automatically carry an enemy, hold the attack button Tip #7: Give followers medkits so they will heal themselves in combat Tip #8: To set up a camp, travel to afree space on the map then hover over the map marker and press the displayed button Tip #9: While forging, don't click on bars unless you plan to sell them bc one bar costs many nuggets which are used for upgrades and reversing a bar to a nugget will only return one nugget Tip #10: Some lower tier weapons are better than the higher ones so you might keep your precious nuggets until you find a better weapon to upgrade
I see you kept the wedding ring and the teddy bear. I too, have difficulty getting rid of those items. In Fallout 4, I made a special storage just for the spouse's ring in the old house.
Do they not do anything? I realize that you aren’t the mother and they aren’t your son and husband in the story (I love visiting the parents’ house in that first village and seeing them confused by what’s gotten into their daughter). I still have them because I assumed they might have a later use. I think I put them in the vault
Anyone that needs help with money I came across some things you can do the Nimp heads I would collect a decent amount sell the to one doctor in any town of preference then Loiter till night jump into the window and steal all her resources at night ( Major shop items only show store owner inventory at night and that’s for any shop ) you can sneak in steal loiter till the morning then sell all their gear back to them and rinse and repeat east money.
something I just discovered. if you are in mines/tunnels if you see large clusters of rocks you can blow them up with dynamite and there may be loot inside.
That last tip though. I fiddled around for 25 minutes trying to figure that out! Bonus tip I also overlooked: If a dead enemy has a weapon you don't want to sell or use and/or your inventory is full you can also scrap them to get a few bullets of the weapon type out of it. Every bullet counts!
For stealth gameplay i watch map and enemy viewing cones and also eliminate every source of light on the way plus play at night. Also for stealth gameplay I prefer melee weapons with range and for ghosts and zombies shotguns. Also when i want to steal a shop I found useful to use the potions that shows where the owner is plus I use the chimneys. These are my tips. :).
I just got done playing and the game is definitely different from what I'm use to but still very cool. I'm really into the world so I can't wait to learn more about it.
Hi thanks for the tips, your time and the video. I'm considering picking this up, it does look like it can be overwhelming to start. I figured watching some beginner guides may help in my decision to pick it up. I really like the look of it, if I decide to pick it up hopefully it won't be complicated to figure out, lol.
It’s easy to buy a horse, a bank vault, and have 1-2 followers when you first return to the town after once it’s rebuilt (the first chance to get these things) All of these give you much more inventory space. This is great because I was hating running through the intro missions with completely full inventory, juggling what to keep and what to break down every damn time I looted anything
Best way to make money I've found is having a full posse, and looting EVERYTHING. With everyone's pockets full (not even counting the horse) it's a few hundred bucks of just junk.
Hi Mortism :D I have a little issue. I love this game to death, lore, universe, characters you name it. Thing is I hit a bit of a snag, 2 times in my hours of playing. Two times I found a ghost, and... its.. odd. The game hints that you can communicate with them but I can't for the life of me find out how. Do you know if there's an item or something I need to have to speak to a ghost or is it a puzzle and I need to figure out the puzzle? Thank you for your time, love the videos and thank you so much for covering this game! Even google seems to ignore it
I killed everyone in quickbend including Essex mast and the drunk lady in the basement, no ghost town achievement unlocked. Also, how do you get on top of the tallest building there?
Essential Tip #6 Rob the first City blind. As long as you dont throw any barrels or run the owners of the shops wont wake up. Just pickpocket them after jumping through a window or pickpocket people sleeping in saloons to get the different keys. Then steal to youre hearts content. But the Gunsmith is a little challenging so just loiter until the people leave and the owner goes to sleep. And the Daggers n bones shop has a chimney so just use a rope.
for MOST money just loiter till night break into the shops steal all the best weapons & Armor loiter again sell back to the same person you took it from. Repeat again and again until you are a rich rich person

when i started playing i spent about 30 mins trying to figure out how to use abilities 😂
Just bought this last night, thanks for the tips, I'm sure they'll be very useful!
I think what passes me off is... the wasted skill points I won't get back. Use them ASAP
Edit: Same with quest.
I saved money (around 1500 I think), and bought a 5 star rifle weapon which can easily one-shot most enemies.
That was great very informative without giving away too much information❤
