Ray was 23 or 24 when this came out and weighed 140. Im currently 16 and weigh 154. So am I getting fat or is ray just that small?
Weight is a relatively useless term. But, most likely, you are a little husky to say the least. Weight is determined by two things: lean mass (bones, muscle, cartilage, organs, etc.) and non-lean mass (essentially just fat). Comparing weight by age is a horrible method of determining fitness (actual fitness, not appearance). There are two decently acceptable reasons for having more weight: height and muscle. If you actively exercise and have decently low fat levels, you can gain weight by building muscle. However, at the age of 16, it's rare finding someone who builds such a significant amount of muscle and exercises so actively. Height is another factor, which is why age/weight is a bad mean of determining fitness. If you're 6'4 and you're 154, you're fit (again, actual definition of fit. not appearance) and have a low BMI. This is very good. Your fitness and health drops from there. If you're 5'0, you're unhealthy. You can find out your own fitness ratio through those figures. Again, this is a rough estimate, but it's most likely negligible to consider anything other than fat as a contender of your weight.
