I just finished Throne of Glass in Dec! It was a long ride (I started in April). Its a very slow burn but stick with it! Your appreciation grows the further into it you get and the payoff is SO worth it!!🫶🏻
I have the guest list on my TBR for this year at least, I got it for my birthday a few months ago. Im reading the color purple now, demon copperhead, natural beauty and ACOTAR are on my list for January.
I am reading “The Overnight Guest” now! It’s great for winter. I am really into seasonally appropriate reading. 😊 I love your vlogs!
I loved the visuals darcy created for voices in the snow! So creepy so good! My one gripe was the romantic elements, i wasn't sold on the chemistry but other than that the book was perfect.
I’m curious to know what you end up thinking of 29 seconds. Personally I gave it 2 stars 😂 I just felt like over half the book was covering what was discussed in the synopsis without anything new or exciting added in. But I’m excited to hear your opinion on it!
I just finished the tandem read yesterday!! However, I read Assassin’s Blade 4th and I think I preferred that way. You already got an introduction into the first three books and with Assassin’s Blade fourth, you get to see certain people or events and how they affected Celaena and impacted her. And the tandem read was awesome, definitely can’t see reading it any other way!

I read a wide variety of genres (besides Romance) favorites being Horror, SciFi, Fantasy, Thriller/Mystery (and some Hist-Fic, Lit-Fic, Non-Fic, Classics, Poetry and Manga) BUT aside from these other genres, this year my main focus is reading a bunch of SciFi and Fantasy books and series.. I cannot wait!! So excited.
Hailey, I don't recall.. have you heard of The Empire of Vampire series? It's Dark Fantasy so you may like it. 😊 Lots of people seem to love it. I believe it also includes some illustrations. Second book comes out this year. That's one of the many series on my '24 TBR.

If you want to try fantasy, I think Grimdark fantasy might be your type - Joe Abercrombie is THE author to go for - dark fantasy with humour
A really good cozy fantasy book that got me into the genre was The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden :) I never read the rest of the trilogy but it is on my list to get back to this year!

I really enjoyed Delicate Condition (although I've never wanted kids so I didn't think I would like it or relate) but I didn't really love AHS: Delicate. And I am a huge AHS fan. The book was just better in the sense that it was suspenseful, creepy, and overall got me more hooked.
