i understand the level of sample digging by the original producers is real wild, but how aiden gets to "precisely" dig the exact samples is absolutely mind blowing!!!!!!!🤯🤯
@@soundbycozzy Most mainstream Hip-Hop drums used today are variations of the same drum samples from other songs within the past 10ish years. It certainly takes experience to recognize the individual samples used, but it's not impossible or in anyway as difficult as it would be to find the melodic samples without Whosampled. Still impressive that he was able to recreate it so accurately.
@@soundbycozzy I could literally name the drum samples on this song before there was even a remake out, and that’s simply because they’re all common sounds that can be found in practically any drum kit online. I have at least 20 spinz 808s and London/Pop snares on my hard drive because they’re literally in every kit I download, and that doesn’t even include the ones that may have effects/alterations on them
This Song perfect example how the right sample choice and why simplicity is key. Again a Great video Aidan and I have always to laugh when you do the Shazam flex 😂😂😂
By far the only person I've seen that actually knows what he's talking about and can explain it in the simplest form while teaching you how a song was produced.
@@maxwellprince5742 yeah the fastest regular trap music is at around 95 bpm, some detroit trap songs like babytron’s stuff go faster but that’s actually just electro/freestyle music. Real 153 bpm would be something like chicago juke or eurodance
From personal experience in sample making , I'd recommend take a bunch of sample u have & making a loop even if it's all not pitched correctly then put into autotune then pitch correct, I do this a lot bc for one I'm not a very good sample maker & two ik no music theory but I've found this effective when trying to make sample or flip them, i thought this bit of knowledge might help someone just take with a grain of salt & apply what seems fit to you
facts finding that 2nd sample lmao! .. but also i like how u out her repitching hihats and showing frequencys ... u diggin just like the dude who found that bee girl sample 😂
Bro at 7:07, the final result was about 40 cents lower in pitch than what you compared with Shazam at 7:13. Did you even compare it with your own remake?
The weird pitch shifts happened a few times throughout the recording (not sure why). You can hear it too with the 808 too for some reason. But yes I did compare it with my remake 🔥
56 minutes into a 70s movie for a sample is a whole different level of digging.
Amazing.
I suspect BoogzDaBeast went through that trouble
@@ozzyworldwide2796 i’m guessing FnZ, but you might be right!
Or he was just watching the movie and accidentally found the a cool sound to sample it

doesn't need to be complicated to be a good beat. that part is fire asf

Man I love the visuals you made for the ADSR on the modification of the 808, it gives a better understanding for beginners. Big ups! 🔥
Glad it helped!
that squishing sound at around 1:43 i never noticed before this video, i just went and checked, and its in that song and now i cannot unhear it 😭😭
