Hello there. I just watched your US flight school videos from Road to Rucker to P2, and its really great contentent and it was really helpful. I got question tho. As a foreign student from Europe, im supposed to go to Fort Novosel to "Basic RW pilot training" from 01.07. to 31.12.2024. I feel like there is not enough time to go through all this that you have talked about in judt those 6 months. So can you tell me what should i expect in these 6 months of school, r we gonna skip some of it and go straight to helicopter training or what? Thanks a lot in advance.
That is a great question. And I’m honestly not 100% sure. I think your assumption is correct because I don’t recall seeing any foreign students in BOLC or SERE. So my best guess is that you will go straight into common core (basic flight school). This will be two weeks of ground school, three weeks of P1, three week P2, four weeks of basic instruments, two weeks of advanced instruments, and 5-6 weeks of BWS. Which comes out roughly 20 weeks. Don’t quote me on this because I’m just doing rough math based off of my memory from 3 years ago lol. But six months should be enough time. I’m assuming you will return back to your country to learn your advanced airframe?
@@scud-runner Wow. What an fast answer. Thanks man. I guess, im new to it tho. Coming from artillery backround, dont know much about flying. Just passed my tests, including SIFT and medicals few months back. Now im just waiting to go to Fort Novosel while still working in artillery. But we will definetly have more training back home, at least 6-12 months. Do you have any advice what to bring there as foreinger, any info on accommodation/housing, do we get to have roommates and stuff like that? Would appreciate it a lot.
This is remarkable!! Thank you so much for posting this
