Tire chains! Yes! In Michigan you don’t see them very often… but I have a set for “Norman” my 2 wheel drive Duramax! Thanks again for these videos, my daughter and I enjoy them so much! Some day… yes some day… we’ll be there in the mountains too! It floors me how much noise the hunted animals put up with. Around here, they seem to spook very easy from foot prints, rubbing by trees and whatnot. My kid says #beardcycles 🤪

“Man, that is the stinkiest deer ever”. A mature mulie in the rut can be some of the worst eating out there! That’s been my experience anyway. How did the meat end up tasting? Awesome hunt and thanks for sharing with us ☺️
I’ve had the stinkiest bucks taste great and never had a bad one. Don’t get any fur on the meat and wash with a damp rag, creates a nice crispy layer and gets any fur off. Learned that from an old game butcher

That's exactly why were out there! Remenesing the times I had with my Dad up the St. Joe and I still hammer hard! Hes too old to hunt now, but I try to bring those memories to myself when we used too! I did a morning bear today, and thought alot of the past! Especially when it's the first time out for the year! Super stoked for 2021 season! Doing another Deer hunt in the Frank, and that's all I care about! 😄. Great hunt, great deer Justin! Lobe that country! Btw... Do wear crampons at all in the deeper snow???

What boots are you guys running? Any time I’m in snow for more than about 2 hours my feet are absolutely frozen, to the point of numb painful toes. I love hunting Idaho winters but I have a hard time staying out very long with how cold my feet get.
