The Claremont Depot is a cool stop in your western travels. I have some Lionel Santa Fe Diesel Engines in my train collection. The Santa Fe war bonnet red, yellow, and silver was an iconic paint scheme and very popular. I’m sure your dad has sold a lot of Santa Fe merchandise in his store. Thanks for another enjoyable video! Safe travels.
Yes, he definitely has a lot of Santa Fe train product in his store. Thanks for sharing what you have in your collection, and your really nice and supportive words ☺️
I met some nice fellow small business owners at the Upland Lemon Festival, and got a few gifts at that western shop featured near the end. Bebopped to the music on my way out - fun times 🤗
Lisa, Great video! I’m not sure why the RUclips algorithm recommended it to me but I’m glad it did. And it’s actually really relevant to me. My mom lives in Claremont, which is nearly 100 miles southeast from me. The drive, particularly on weekdays, is really terrible due to the traffic. So, what I usually do when I visit her is take Metrolinlk. So, I’m really familiar with that station. 😀
Claremont really does look a lovely location. Have heard of Metrolink in California as they released a route on Train Sim World 4 when you can drive a Metrolink train from Los Angeles Union Station to Lancaster. Also the Lemon Festival looks a good event. Great video
Thanks so much! And yes, you can take the metro Aaron from Los Angeles to that Claremont depot I was at, and then carry on to Upland, where the Lemon Festival was that I went to.
I keep discovering interesting train related things - check out this property in Scotland! And old train station converted into a home, that comes with a train and track : ) nypost.com/2023/03/02/this-train-house-asks-588k-and-comes-with-its-own-track/
I was thinking about you with my recent episodes in Spencer and my dad‘s shop. Do you say hi to your son for me. Have you guys been to the transportation, museum and Spencer before? Thank you so much for all of the friendly conversations in the Train Loft over the years, as well as your continued support watching as my channel has evolved.
@@LisaKEntertainment Why yes we have been to the NC Transportation Museum. We find ourselves there 2-3 times a year. Really liked the piece you did on it as well. Hope to see you when you're back in town. I'll pass the "hi" onto the little guy. Cheers!

Hey Lisa,
I grew up in Upland (UHS n' all) and Claremont was one of my daughter's favorite "hangs" in her youth.
Thanks.
Oh, wow!!! I’d never been there before, and love connecting with a locally grow guy and 🚂 lover ☺️
Love the architecture.
Same! Love Spanish architecture.

The actor Michael Gross is a huge railfan, and the Santa Fe might be his favorite. We chat on Facebook about it occasionally.
Oh my gosh! I totally watched “Family Ties” growing up.
@@LisaKEntertainment He’s a really great guy, just like his character on “Family Ties”.
@@Nearly-famous-painter1960 Love hearing that.
