Our Ellijay, “Apple Pie tour”, was a success. We visited 3 of the apple houses in the area and tried fried pies from each one. The tasting at these two was delicious. Each filling was great, but it was all about the crust….if you know, you know!!! Don’t miss an opportunity to visit Ellijay during October’s Apple season; you can thank us later!!

We have a fried pie place called The Original Fried Pie Shop in Sikeston, MO... it is delish! If you are ever rolling through there you should check it out. This place looks good too!

Haven't tried any of those, but a fan of fried pies anywhere. Best when fresh out of the grease. I gotta ask though.. what kind of heathens eats all those pies without some ice cream to wash them down? LOL
