This song is really good, my school did hairspray jr. not that long ago and their was a guy that I was dating who played link in the play and he sang this song to me instead of the girl who played Tracy and it was really cute no boy has ever sing a song or dedicated a song to me before
It's Jr for the reasons above and also it is in a different key, I'm performing as Link in a production of this and I was singing it wrong by listening the regular hairspray version. This also doesn't have any of the high notes when Link goes into falsetto, he also skips straight to "Lancelot had guinevere etc.".
