To be frank with you , during my school days ,I always wanted to be cynosure of all eyes and most of the extra curricular activities I did was geared at getting attention. So I feel that I suffered from this disorder but after I started listening to Buddhist sermons, I realized the futility of fame and being in public spotlight .As you said .most of actors and actress suffer from this disorder. Large number of businessmen and businesswomen too suffered from this disorder as most of their social work are just publicity stunts. I would like watch more videos on the attention seeking disorder. Sometimes driving very expensive vehicle is also done to get attention not for comfort .Finally ,If you carefully analyze the behaviour of people in society ,large number people suffer from this disorder.
Not all attention-seeking behaviour can be attributed to Borderline Personality Disorder, there are other reasons why people tend to do it. But as you said, it most certainly is a sure formula for unhappiness, and many people do suffer from it
Ma'am i also got medications for bpd about 3months but I stopped taking medication without informing the doctor this happened before 2years I wanna know how long a person should take the medications to recover from bpd ( i took citopam and after a month i took nexito)
Do you still feel troubled by the disorder? Psychotherapy can be helpful if you do not want to take medicine, but both need to be done for a long period of time..
@@TheHappinessMuse I think I'm still seeking for attention but not as previous. sometimes i overthink like "why did it happen ,gosh I messed up" But parallely i think "oh that is past you can't change it and nobody can remember it so go ahead" . Because of that i don't remember what happened awhile ago and if I feel something or someone is gonna hurt me then ill let them go
