      we need few more bike runners to the back field to make the races interesting so Sam, Lionel and who else too in for a contract! Foley?

    • @mamoun15
      @mamoun15 День назад +4

      Sanders already rejected the contract last year. He will just be destroyed with his swim level

      @@mamoun15a first class swim coach sponsored by the T100 should be part of his contract. The question is if Lionel can trust any coach 😂

      It’s pointless for him to be in a long swim, short bike and run race like T100

  • @heikkisanelma6625
    @heikkisanelma6625 День назад +24

    We need Bike+Run team of Foley, Sanders and Long on the back field on the reces to wreck havoc on the field for next year!

      Lmao people are really delusional. They will all come out of the water so far back it’s not gonna happen.
      Sam long lost time from the front on the last few races.
      Lionel will come out too far back out of the water
      Trevor is the only one that I think needs a wildcard but again with his swim it’s gonna be a struggle

      @ haha yeah MVR. But then again, he is also the MVP (most valuable player) in T100 😉

      Yes, à real triathlete not like Long the duathlete swimming alone 200m behind (a shame for this sport)

      @ i feel bad for Sam. I mean he even cried because of that. He is such a nice guy but this disadvantage in swimming is just crazy and will make it near impossible for him to win. I wonder why he isnt better in swimming. I suck myself but im no pro and even the pros in triathlon arent excellent swimmers. Good yeah, but not excellent. Sam should be able to close that gap more.

    $210,000 is great for first prize in the season championship, but it's still small compared to other sports. Splurging because you won 1st place is not really a consideration. I hope the sport keeps growing in popularity, sponsorship, and prize money.

    T100 is middle distance not long distance

    T100 leaderboard is going to look very different next year if all of the super fast short coarse guys move up to middle distance. Just think of Hayden Wilde, Jelle Geens, the four french studs, etc racing in the T100. The long course guys coming down to T100 will not stand a chance. The long course guys will gravitate to the Ironman Pro Series.

    I'd love to see Hayden Wilde in T100. If he keeps getting closer to the front pack in the swim, he will be very hard to beat in middle distance, I'm sure he has LA gold as a goal tho so he probably won't totally stop standard distance tri's

    I think this year put all the weaker swimmers on notice that the T100 isn't for them, so Lionel probably isn't coming. be careful what you wish for bringing the Eagle into the tour 😎- sneak preview in Taupo coming up 🏆🦅

  • @GundSports

    The T100 is going to be completely different next year if all the super fast short distance guys move up to middle distance. The long distance guys will not stand a chance and will focus or gravitate to the Ironman Pro Series.

    T100 should dramatically shorten the swim and lengthen the bike run to entice Lionel. Otherwise it’s playing to his weakness. Same as well.

      A duathlete with two second place finishes at the Ironman world championships is pretty good.
      I guess all the triathletes should be grateful he's not a real triathlete, right? Right?
