I was just off of social media for a couple of weeks to focus on school, and I got back on maybe a week or so ago. In my opinion, I don’t think social media is inherently bad. However, I do believe there is a Spirit behind it. Social media can be very self serving/seeking, ambitious, and attention grabbing. If we aren’t careful, a swipe up or a comment can be a dopamine hit that we will look forward to every.single.time we post. It’s an interesting dynamic of sharing our life with people vs. proving our life to people

I deleted all my personal socials earlier this year and so far no regrets… it brought so much self doubt and problems to all my relationships in my life including my views on self worth.

This is crazy ! Since March I’ve realised that I’ll just be impulsively scrolling on social media, especially on Snapchat. I’ve deleted that app and only use Instagram & TikTok for my business accounts. Other than that, just been reading books, watching sermons and Podcasts like y’all’s and building a closer relationship with God ❤️🙏🏾
