    I love how he falls to his death , then starts shooting at a window across the map without using his sights

    Thank you i use a 2500k and gtx 970 it should give the same performance more or less :D

    I have the same processor @4.3 ghz (the voltage is around 1.35V, the temperature never exceeds 60C), a slightly worse MB (P8Z68-V LX), 8+8 GB HyperX FURY @ 1833 mhz, and GTX 1070. However, my i5 was constantly under 100% load (all 4 cores), and fps was really unstable (jumping from above 80 to below 30 all the time) regardless of video settings. So this is obviously a CPU bottleneck.
    But your CPU barely hit 95% load. Did you use any specific settings via the game config?

      Nope, I do not change the settings, I use already ready presets in the game.
      Can you overclock the RAM to 2133ghz?
      I've noticed for a long time that overclocking RAM on my PC reduces CPU utilization%.
      I noticed this on the example of the Witcher 3 in Novigrad. I used RAM at 1333ghz. CPU utilization was 100%, and FPS was not stable and was below 60.
      After overclocking to 2133ghz, the FPS became stably 60+, while the CPU utilization dropped to ~ 80% in the same Novigrad.
      I have on the channel very old video from The Witcher 3, for example. At 1333ghz and 2133ghz the frequencies of RAM.

      Thanks, I'll try during the next beta test this weekend, even though I doubt 1833 -> 2133 MHz will make a huge difference (most likely it will only make the system unstable). What is the voltage of your CPU @4.5GHZ? I assume you use 45 ratio and 100 MHz system bus, don't you?
      The Witcher 3 ran fine for me on ultra settings in 1920x1200 (and in 2k resolution GPU becomes a bottleneck). I even had worse memory back then (2 x 4 GB 1600MHz Geil). Not a single BSOD in 120+ hours, stable fps, and only one crash to desktop (happened during a cutscene, most likely a game bug).

      My i5-2500k
      4.5ghz = 1.32v (x45)
      4.8ghz = 1.39v (x48)
      system bus = 100 mhz all time
      7 years I use overclocking 4.5 GHz
      I tried the frequencies above, at 4.8ghz 1.39v full stability, but for constant use I decided to leave the voltage and frequency lower.
      The Hynix 1333 1.5V RAM is overclocked to 2133 1.6V (11/11/11/30)

      I have this processor + a GTX 1060 6GBs and I too get up to 80fps but it drops down to 30 and probably more like 50fps on average and I've put settings all on low and barely any improvement. I was running on Windows 7 and I read someone had a similar problem and upgraded to windows 10 and it was much better. I wasn't able to upgrade to 10 before the beta ended.

    If i have i5 2500, what's the diference ?

    • @MrBeav1s
      @MrBeav1s  5 лет назад

      The main difference in the frequency of the CPU = 2500 = 3.3GHz, my 2500k is overclocked to 4.5GHz
