1:55 "the final no sir" cracked me up when you said that 😅

I haven't used these brands but the color selection and variety would be great for lettering or card making, just my suggestion.

I carry a cheap hobby lobby watercolor in my backpack when my kids want to paint with me. I let them use the cheaper palette

I agree. There is always a use for the products. You could practice with any of them.

Masters touch products aren’t bad at all.

I think I understand your reservations about the paper in the NicPro. I'm curious as to whether you most often use a block or pad. Most of my paper is spiral bound pad. Some are cheap but a couple are not. 😊

Lately I am more of a block person to paint on. I still use pads for sketchbook creation all the time though. So I would say I use them both about equally.

Ken, if I can add another "No sir" to your experience with the Elan set....
Don't get their paper. Oh goodness it's bad. Maybe it's because I'm used to Baohong or Meeden, but my gosh it's awful. I don't know, maybe for others it might be useful. Not for me😢

@@Goldi-Luc I have never tried ARTISTRO, but from the looks of it they appear to be about the same. They are not bad cheap little paints if they are.
