Scumreading is far more useful now since there's almost no way to identify 100% undeniably confirmed people due to how Illu and Ench work, the difference is depending on your role it's also far more risky if you get it wrong.

Crus on disconnect you can hit pirate, enchanter, soul collector (won't kill them but alert to their presence) or apparently a seer Edit: forgot they made SC astral, so you can't even hit them. I don't think any other evil has a reason to visit disconnected

It's not like I have proof of shenanigans, but I can only suspend my disbelief so much. This kind of thing is becoming more common lately, along with people getting outed for discord calls.
