If you don't see a clip the way he sees it at 2:25 and you've been messing with the stupid wiper blade for 15 minutes straight trying to figure it out in the dark outside in the cold only your phone as a flashlight and your hands are completely black at this point from messing with the thing, youre starting to doubt your abilities as a human being and you worry theres a camera watching you somewhere waiting to post a video of you on the internet titled "WATCH A LOCAL IDIOT STRUGGLE WITH A BASIC TASK (*NOT CLICKBAIT*)" and (IMPORTANT) the parts that hold the wiper on look and feel like they are made of weak plastic... ... Just bend it backwards until it breaks. That's what I did. Didn't take too much force, and the metal arm that holds the wiper on was strong enough it didn't damage it. That's all.
Definitely been there. I just know, as I'm struggling for an hour to figure it out, that the neighbors are laughing their asses off. Must be my kryptonite as even with directions it ends up being a Chinese puzzle to me, and I've replaced lifters in a 74' Pontiac LeMans before. I did figure out, though, that it's best to have the other blade set up and, in your hand, to put on immediately after removing the old one. What messed me up was one of the new blades had two different clips with it in a bag and I had to figure out which worked. Strangely, the old blade that was the same brand, used a different clip than the replacement.
Thanks for being in-depth and zooming in on the parts you're talking about
Super helpful. I was waiting to get help at Autozone and they were busy so I clicked on your video and I was able to do it myself!
That's AWESOME! Way to go! Thank you for sharing :) Cheers!
Very helpful, thank you!
You are welcome!

Thanks for the help man!
You’re welcome!
Can you do this for a 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT? Because my wiper blades definitely do not come off like that.
I believe it’s the same except the 2017 and on has a tab on the wiper blade that you need to push too. You push the tab and then pull the blade off.
Thanks! This worked out perfectly!
Glad it was helpful! Cheers
Thank you
