ADAM, I'M KIERNAN, I HAVE BEEN TELLING PEOPLE THAT IF COVID GOES MUCH LONGER, THERE WILL BE A MARKET FOR SPACE SUITS THAT HAVE AR GLASSES, AC, STEREO MUSIC, STIL-(ALA-1983-DUNE)-SUIT .. It would help people explore post covid world, while pseudo preparing for life on mars.. Also lookup non-euclidean geometry games and consider the opportunity for stage performers that need work post-covid.. Also, have you heard about deepfaking, imagine if you could legitimately license a popular actors likeness, and hire impersonators to create a realtime performance art where you interact with anyone from a theater production, to elderly stage performers and such using V and deepfaking to make it possible.
I can imagine a headline in the not too distant future: "There were amazing scenes at the NASA Space Museum in Cape Canaveral when it was discovered that the original Apollo spacesuit helmet had been swapped. It took a few months to discover the helmet swap...' The next Adam Savage Tested stream has a very smug Adam front and centre pleading the 5th... :)
Future HEADLINE: NASA Finds omission in its own display version of Apollo Spacsuit Helmet ... Adam Savages diaries: These four (4) points on the helmet 'seem to be accurate' but never documented as far as I can tell ...
I was 12 in 1969. I like to feel the way I did watching and following the Apollo missions. Thanks for bringing that back for me. You are such a geek. That's why we love you and your work.
Personally I don't care that much about the NASA type replicas HOWEVER I still love watching Adam get so excited about a subject he cares so much about. Watching him bounce with excitement makes my day.
More than I love your enthusiasm - I’m blown away that Ive lived this long and never knew that the beep on transmissions is called a quindar tone. Don’t ever stop being the wonderful you Adam. Thank you for sharing your beautiful passion.
Thanks Adam and the team at tested for making lockdown a bit more bearable much love from the U.K Hope to meet you one day man and get you to sign Every tools a hammer, read it 5 times while i've been off XD
I feel so lucky to have been born when I was. I grew up during Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo. I saw most of the missions on an old black and white TV, including all of the moon walks (well, except for Apollo 12 and 13, and some people will know why). I wanted to be an astronaut so badly, but back then there was no program to join for that. The closest I came was to launch model rockets. I always dreamed of having a space suit just like this one. Adam, you truly are living the dream. Every time I watch your videos I wish you grew up near me, because I know you and I would have been the best of friends as kids.
Adam you are not alone. My cousin had a wedding that was filmed that way. Great PREWEDDING footage... and the reception. Enjoy, and thank you for continued killer content. You are still one of the kings of science entertainment.
This is amazing! I am so envious right now. But one thing has always bothered me about this suit: the silhouette is a bit off, because the shoulders and neck are a little too droopy. The A7L has an internal pressure suit that adds a lot of structure, especially around the shoulders and neck. Given that Ryan's suit patterns are accurate to the original (or nearly so), it should be trivial to just add a bit more batting (maybe it will make it a bit hotter, but it would be totally worth it!) or something underneath to stiffen the shoulders and give the upper torso just a bit more structure. Do consider it! Otherwise, you are living the dream man
Ryan's suits are works of art :) I make Star Wars Resistance X-wing suits, but I don't have to worry about anodized sealing rings and all that. I'd love to try my hand at a space suit replica someday... your videos are inspiration for that, Adam!
What an amazing and precious person you are, Adam. Your energy, positiveness, politeness, and kindness are always an inspiration to me - and others, I'm sure. That's why you are my patron saint - and inhabits the wall of my little shop.
I love love LOVE all the videos you've done during the pandemic... that being said this is probably my all time favorite just because of the sheer joy and happiness you display. You're like a kid opening the best presents they've ever received 😃
"I think I've had more fun with this than you've had..." No Adam... watching your glee is probably just as infectious as that nasty Covid-19, but a lot more wholesome and fun. You've been a rock in this sea of trouble a lot of people have been sailing. I for one can tell you watching your videos has kept me sane (and probably alive) during these times.
dannymac63 I was using my pin nailer to hang some shiplap on my wall, and the entire time I thought about Adam saying to give the nails a radius. Low and behold, I had some flyers come out curling out where my fingers would naturally be. Thanks a ton Adam!
Newbombed Turk, no doubt!! I’m thankful to have watched basically every Tested and every one of AvE’s videos, before delving into major projects. It’s certainly not a conventional safety course, but I’ve learned MANY of the things that truly matter most!
I'm working on my own pressure suit for a different project. And although Adams suits are replicas, these videos have unironically been helpful in figuring out certain mechanical things and answering question on how different parts are supposed to work.
Who are the miserable ppl that watch these videos and then thumb down?? Thank you Adam and the team for these great breaks from the crazy, current reality!
We would hope. I mean you would think that recreating something based on seventy or eighty year old technology using modern materials, adhesives, and tools shouldn't be that difficult. :/
Sometimes the knowledge gets lost. Check out curious droid's video on remaking the rocketdyne f1 from the apollo program. Lots of highly skilled craft workers custom work is what got those engines made .... might as well been powered by greek fire.
I just imagine a delivery happening shortly after and the person’s non reaction, due to the fact this isn’t the first time Adam answered the door in a spacesuit.
Adam, it is a joy to see you so happy with your A7L suit. I wonder if you built a wearable Buzz Lightyear suit if you would be as happy? I would be happy to see you build one.
Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchison Kansas has restored and displays the Odyssey capsule from Apollo 13. There is a gala this November for the 50th year with Lovell and Haise among others attending. The sold-out dinner is black tie optional so I think Adam would be so dapper in his spacesuit. The conservation team might have a suit to which you could test fit your helmet.
Elon Musk is waaay behind on Adam...here we have a civilian who has already travelled to all the corners of the universe with all of manner of spaceship and spacesuit, has deep knowledge of alien civilizations and their artifacts and has also been so kind to take us all for the ride...guess who's looking over the shoulder of Orion? Thanks Adam and the whole team of Tested, the quality of your content is truly mesmerizing. I find myself thinking often how could I convey the level of satisfaction and inspiration I get from your videos, but I think thanks will do for now :)
Dude, you got so much cool shit man. You've totally earned it too, which makes it much much cooler. I remember watching your show with the other fellow growing up. Cheers
Make a one-day build of adding a HEPA filter and backpack for the pump. But, yes, I would like to see him wear it out someplace like a biohazard suit too.
I love it! And I love you guys! Dudes! Amazing! Because of you I finally see how these things work!! Aaaaaaaaaaah!!! Gotta see your and Ryan’s studios one day!!! Guess I gotta get famous first!
I would love to see you make the hard suite prototype for Major Matt Mason... with one-way mirroring on the glass, it would be a great SDCC walk-about suits as well.
Here's the original show-and-tell of Adam's A7L spacesuit, from back in 2016: ruclips.net/video/p4vRNjur7nc/видео.html
SO COOL ADAM I WANT ONE😁
_Boys will be boys._ :)
Depending on air flow requirements a powered air respirator could be ur clean filtered air source to the helmet the yer it could be ur corona suit lol
Omega Speedy on the glove was the coolest nod to the original.

We need this type of innocent happiness everyday
I get it!
@@manuhonkanen2111 what?
It's...it's called play. Used to be more of it about, but then the virus came...things were never the same.
Not too sure about innocent
I cannot agree enough!

congrats on 67 years
Personally I don't care that much about the NASA type replicas HOWEVER I still love watching Adam get so excited about a subject he cares so much about. Watching him bounce with excitement makes my day.
Only Adam Savage could say "I left my space suit helmet in my car" and mean it
Well, I could say the same thing! I've built three space helmets.
It puts a smile on my face seeing how excited he gets for this. 10/10 cosplay
I was almost sad that we wouldn't get an outro, but you re-recorded it. Thank you, Mr. Savage. You're truly awesome.
More than I love your enthusiasm - I’m blown away that Ive lived this long and never knew that the beep on transmissions is called a quindar tone.
Don’t ever stop being the wonderful you Adam. Thank you for sharing your beautiful passion.
I've heard it called Rodger beep. Now I know how to spell that word. Thanks!
Thanks Adam and the team at tested for making lockdown a bit more bearable much love from the U.K Hope to meet you one day man and get you to sign Every tools a hammer, read it 5 times while i've been off XD
Signing it... with a hammer?
Hell if Adam Savage wanted to put a hammer blow underneath his signature? I would take that in a heartbeat haha!
Watching you have fun is one of the greatest things on the Internet. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.
I feel so lucky to have been born when I was. I grew up during Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo. I saw most of the missions on an old black and white TV, including all of the moon walks (well, except for Apollo 12 and 13, and some people will know why).

Ryan's work is absolutely masterful. I bet he charges an absolute mint for his replicas - he deserves every penny.
I love, love, love how happy Adam is and how happy this makes him.
Ryan's suits are works of art :) I make Star Wars Resistance X-wing suits, but I don't have to worry about anodized sealing rings and all that. I'd love to try my hand at a space suit replica someday... your videos are inspiration for that, Adam!
I smiled all the way through this. Adam’s joy is infectious.
I always love seeing your joy and excitement in your videos, whether it be for something you are making yourself or for the talent of other makers.
How come I can't seem to stop smiling? Your sheer joy is contagious.
What an amazing and precious person you are, Adam. Your energy, positiveness, politeness, and kindness are always an inspiration to me - and others, I'm sure. That's why you are my patron saint - and inhabits the wall of my little shop.
You are such a WONDERFUL space geek Adam!
I'm only half interested in spacesuit replicas...
I'm here for Adam's passion and excitement.
100% EVERY TIME!
The sheer happiness is so contagious ! Thanks for the great show and tell !
That lock ring is gorgeous. And I love how much better the new bubble helmet looks! Looks like a much smoother/rounder surface!
"But i could" just the sheer possibility of him being able to do that gets him excited....... Man i love adam savage 😂❤️
I love love LOVE all the videos you've done during the pandemic... that being said this is probably my all time favorite just because of the sheer joy and happiness you display. You're like a kid opening the best presents they've ever received 😃
Genuine joy. The world needs more of this.
It is so much to watch Adam having fun! I can't stop smiling. 😊 👍

Utterly charming! I wish I could show my enthusiasm for something as infectiously as Adam does!
Your enthusiasm is so delightful!
The level of detail and accuracy on this is mind blowing. And once again, Adam's enthusiasm is infectious. 😁
I love you so much Adam. Your enthusiasm and passion is so infectious. I wish I could build something with you one day!
Adam, thank you for everything over the years, especially the pin nailer recommendation!
dannymac63 I was using my pin nailer to hang some shiplap on my wall, and the entire time I thought about Adam saying to give the nails a radius. Low and behold, I had some flyers come out curling out where my fingers would naturally be. Thanks a ton Adam!

'I can barely contain my excitement.' >> You better :) Adam, you just made my day. Seeing you being so excited for these upgrades is amazing.
I'm working on my own pressure suit for a different project. And although Adams suits are replicas, these videos have unironically been helpful in figuring out certain mechanical things and answering question on how different parts are supposed to work.
just seeing the genuine excitement that the suit brings him 1000000000/10
Who are the miserable ppl that watch these videos and then thumb down?? Thank you Adam and the team for these great breaks from the crazy, current reality!
Seeing Adam happy makes me happy.
Absolutely incredible design work, and the air system along with the cooling system is some of the best practical work I've ever seen in a costume.
I never get tired of seeing Adam excited about stuff. His enthusiasm is more infectious than covid-19.
I love how excited Adam gets when he’s showing us his latest cool updates!!
That is awesome! It so joyful to see Adam's passion.
Cool suit. I love that they call it a Snoopy Helmet. Do those ports on the front look a little like teats...or is it just me?
So at some point, we can expect Ryan to just deliver a flat out fully functional space suit, right?
We would hope. I mean you would think that recreating something based on seventy or eighty year old technology using modern materials, adhesives, and tools shouldn't be that difficult. :/

GRACIAS POR TU IDEA
Oh man, I love how excited you get. Great video adam
Your enthusiasm and excitement is infectious and always has me smiling during videos like this. :-)
Adam, we stand with you!
It makes me happy, just seeing how happy it makes him.
We need a PSA of Adam in the suit asking which people would prefer, a cloth mask or spacesuit?
I hope someday we can all find someone that looks at us with even half as much love as Adam looking at a space-suit neck-ring.
The older the boy, the more expensive his toys get. Love your enthousiasm.Adam. Never grow old and keep the inner child alive :-)
Thank you Adam Savage for this video!
Adam thank you for everything you do and have done. You have make my days amazing because your so funny and so smart.
Adam has a marvelous gift. He never grew up and lost that child-like enthusiasm.
It does make me happy to know that this replica exists
our fun is watching you nerd out, and anyone that cant enjoy adam nerd out is weird.
What a delight to watch your enthusiasm.
Adam expressing child-like joy is the best!
There could not be another respons to this than a smile and a thumbs up. :)
I just imagine a delivery happening shortly after and the person’s non reaction, due to the fact this isn’t the first time Adam answered the door in a spacesuit.
Such a Space nerd, and I thought I was bad. Happy belated happy Birthday Adam.
15 minutes of highly contagious enthusiasm.
Any word on the suit from The Martian?
You and the Myth Buster crew are part of the reason I went from high school dropout to Cal Poly engineer.
I need to see Adam wearing this in Walgreens
Fantastic job really great work!!!; )
I love seeing how giddy Adam gets with his new toys.
Adam, it is a joy to see you so happy with your A7L suit. I wonder if you built a wearable Buzz Lightyear suit if you would be as happy? I would be happy to see you build one.

Your enthusiasm is very catching :)
Always love seeing your suits!
Adam Savage is my spirit animal.
Watching Adam have a good time is my idea of a good time.
This episode is so Adam. Amazing episode :D

He's such a nerd and its awesome. That level of fun and excitement is hard to come by these days.
Looks great! You could probably find an aircraft avionics cannon plug to go inside that electrical connector on the front of the suit for more detail?
He is pure joy.
When he started explaining there had been a mishap, I was so worried that he'd dropped and broken the helmet!
I thought the same thing. Or the ring was dropped and dented.
You are such a space nerd...and I love you for it!!!!!!
Grats Adam, that is epic!
Truly outstanding.
"But I could" love it!!!
I smiled every second of watching this video.
Coolest suit replica I have ever seen :D Amazing.
Your excitement reminds me of your flight in the U2 plane.
[whispers]: "...but I could." Adam's the best!
Dude, you got so much cool shit man. You've totally earned it too, which makes it much much cooler. I remember watching your show with the other fellow growing up. Cheers
we need you to go to a store or something wearing this suit
and a nice filter on that air punp
@@djaydeved this could legitimately function as a PAPR with a more quiet fan with a filter in it
Make a one-day build of adding a HEPA filter and backpack for the pump.
But, yes, I would like to see him wear it out someplace like a biohazard suit too.
Taking the mask protocol to a while new level. Who's more socially distanced than an Apollo astronaut?
Unreal amounts of cool

"your wife is a very understanding woman" - Craig Ferguson
Lol I love that interview. "I still don't understand how you ever got laid" -Craig
Well I guess some girls really like nerds!
oh man, I'd love to see a picture or video of you going to the grocery store in that suit! That would be bad ass!!
you will have to build the fan or several in to a silver case to make the iconic acessory as shown in photos
Lol Adams awesome, such a happy dude. Good video 👍😁
Absolutely amazing! I see a one day build in the future of molding the pool toy inflator with a quiet fan, and making it look more "NASAesque".
I would love to see you make the hard suite prototype for Major Matt Mason... with one-way mirroring on the glass, it would be a great SDCC walk-about suits as well.
