We froze them in with Decimus and Serena. Halo wars 2 on mirage.

In this 2 vs 2 I was running Decimus for a change of pace. I ran my usual vehicles which seems rare for Decimus. We had a significant push on an opponents headquarters where the base was frozen but not destroyed. As the game neared it's end, we saw messages that our freeze caused a glitch so that base would not open and release troops. Is this a real thing? Has anyone experienced it before? Or where they making excuses? Let us know in the comments.
