What we are doing is saving the project to our hard-drive and uploading from within RUclips which is a far better option. I believe many others have expressed the same feelings on this subject...Why must Powerdirector/Cyberlink demand access and control of ones Gooble account? This question may have been answered. I would like to save my video and send it to another phone or computer. Can this be done outside of only saving projects within the power director system. If so, how!?
I am trying this out...because.. When I spend 2-4 hours , editing a video , for youtube channel.. the 365 program will freeze on me....then GREY OUT my whole screen and FREEZE my new $2500 - 2022 laptop computer. It gives me a choice to : 1) wait for program to resume (i've waited for 2 hours once...and nothing happens.) 2) close program (when I pick it, it will crash and my computer comes on line, but a big chunk of all my hours of editing work is deleted , when I restart the program)
Hi Maliek, First like to say how important your videos are to me. I have been using PD for about 6 years now, and produced a blu ray ages ago. Unfortunately i have only learned how to archive my projects recently (thanks to you). I still have the project on my computer but many of the assets have changed location which prevents me from converting it to a USB drive or re-editing it. Do you have any suggestion on how to convert a DVD to USB?
Thanks for watching my content. Access the DVD files from the file explorer on your PC. Go to the video_ts folder on the DVD and copy the .vob file to your hard drive. Then import the .vob file to PowerDirector. You should be able to edit and produce a .mp4 file that you can place on a USB drive.
Quick question, I am using PD14 so not sure if that is part of issue, but is using youtube online option now dead due to updates in youtube? I cannot get PD to authorize for anything, so I guess its manual uploading?
Yo man, if I make a 3 part video, do it make sense to make and save each part separately, so I can dump the unwanted clips and full length footage used to make the individual parts when a segment is done? And to do so, would it just be save each and import each into a new project just to stitch them together?

I can. I have no idea why you can't. You need to click the blue "Produce" or 'Export button at the top, select your file format, click the three dots near the bottom of the interface, select the Pen Drive, click Save/Ok, then click Start.
I'm trying to produce a video but I only have the option to export. The video has already been saved before I learned the rule about not being able to upload to RUclips unless you produce it. I can't find the produce option under file or at the top. I'm using the free version. Can you not produce on the free version? Thanks!

Could you do a video or please explain how to add hashtags to your RUclips videos from Power director? I've produced several and it seems there is no option to add hashtags using Power Director (?) I hope I'm wrong...
Go to the title designer, drag the default title to the timeline, double click the default title, type in the hashtag you want using the keyboard keys. Click ok to close the title designer. You can't make clickable text with this program
hey help pls, using PD365, trying to produce a video, it keeps exporting new untitled project instead of the project next to it. how to get rid of new project and just have the one im working on open and or how to select which project tab to be exported
There's no X on the new untitled project tab, only what the projects I open and some edits are saved separately into a different save file as short minute videos. And the new untitled project tab will stay there n first as other tabs open next to it. Only first short one gets exported, there's no visual option to export which particular one

Hi Maliek Is there a tutorial in Ur catalogue teaching how to place "Text behind moving objects". It's becoming quite popular especially for Travel videos and commercials. There are some PDirector Android examples, but it would be great to learn the PC version in PDirector. Take Care

Like I'm splitting news clips into smaller ones for a RUclips video. Some of them have more than one segment I want to use. @@cyrene7784 No you can't save each clip as a new project. You can't save each segment as it's own file. When you press the produce button at the top of the screen you can create a video clip/file from whatever is on the timeline. If you split a clip to only have the part or segments you want on the timeline press produce and select the settings you want.
I've been trying out various editors just to do some simple editing. All I want to do is clip out 10-15 secs of various clips out of a larger mp4 file and save them as separate mp4 files. Is that possible using cyberlink, because everything I've seen wants to just save projects and then export/produce one mp4.
What a farkin complicated rigmarole to get a file on the PC that can be watched outside of power director, or uploaded to any website. The multiple tiddlyRsed steps, is highly confusing to me, when all I had to do in the original Windows Movie Maker was SAVE FILE AS, and hit the location & name it. Bingo saved as - without all those other B/S tiny steps. What I am going to do "now" is open an old XP PC and grab the Windows Movie Maker application from there, save it to a thumbdrive, put THAT into the Win 11 pc, and run it as administrator. Then work on video clips the way I used to do them when I did them on the old XP. None of the f4rkin around with all these (EXTRA) "tiny wee steps" of (this, that, "henry-poped-a-poodle", & twenty five thousand other steps before)):... Oh look - it can now PLAY it - on the PC.? Actually, a better I dea, will be to toss the video directly onto the old XP (offline forever) machine, and do all video editing there, with instant "save movie as (file) onto the thumbdrive, to bring THAT back to the win 11 as a viewable anywhere .mp4 file.
Have to say I was disappointed. I'm trying to save RUclips videos so I can view offlince as I travel a bit. Did not see how you can download RUclips videos and save on computer for viewing later.
That's not an option with any editing program as that is not the purpose. If you get a RUclips premium subscription you can download YouTUbe videos to view offline.
This video is NOT CORRECTLY TITLED. It is NOT "How to Save Videos". It IS "How to Save Projects". This video is not oriented for the task of a) opening a video, then b) trimming off the end of the video, and then c) saving the video that remains after trimming. Such a simple objective, but PowerDirector can't accomplish it. In PowerDirectory, the user is forced to memorize the original video's pixel settings and file type BEFORE going through the process of generating the output video. You can almost laugh at PowerDirector for being too weak to do a simple trim and save video.
dont forget you need a yearly subscription/ monthly to not have the stupid watermark or access any of the options sooooo everyone search for a better free app.

I have done everything you have said to do to save my video I have edited but it does not save under the format to upload it to youtube.
You only need to do one thing. Produce video. It is explained and shown at 4:25 in the video

Go to Produce > Choose profile/settings > Select Browse or three dots > Select your drive as the location > Select Start
