Would those mentioned things had any effect, where criminals obey the laws? Obtain guns as prescribed by law? Red flags laws and how they would be applied, and shooters like the this one would be characterized to shift blame to the right? And soft targets, and the schools, malls + that are temptations for these people, where no one shoots back. The matter of concealed carry by responsible gun owner does not present an issue for wanna be shooter?
This loser shot at least 15 people, killing 8. That's a minimum of 15 laws broken. I'm sure a person intent on committing a crime like this will stop and say, "Oh no that's 16 crimes I'm going to break, that's just one too many so I better stop."
