I feel like the idea of putting Ballo in the post with a man on his back and asking him to make his turnaround shot is something best suited for mid game play and not so much first play of the game. Ballo should be able to get at least a couple put back buckets a game, a few dump in when he seals his man from the rim and gets that entry pass, and also just being available off rim drives by teammates. His floor is going to be at least 12 and 10 per game.
I think he needs a jump hook, or a Shaq style flip shot. When he's got the ball that deep in the paint, which he had a bunch of times, no need to try to grind even closer to the rim, just power it up, and mix in enough up fakes so the opponent either stays off balance or just stays on the floor hoping the shot misses. Watch films of Shaq in the deep paint and do exactly as Shaq did. Don't you think? If they still whistled travels, frankly OB travelled several times, but so did Tenn players a whole bunch of times. That transfer from OSU big, he travels on nearly every shot, they just don't call those anymore.
The D looked really encouraging, although they need to not so often go for upfakes outside the arc, just put the hand in the guys face but otherwise keep a good defensive stance. The O, wow, SO many poor passes. And it's not all because they have so many new players, most of it was poor fundamentals, too much one handed passing and catching, making passes too far away from the target, poor footwork on passes, etcetera. The poor passing was the main culprit for the dissapointing 3 shooting, the pass either got to the open guy too late, or it was such a bad pass that catch and shoot was not feasible. With the size they have up front, their 3 shooting needs to come predominantly from the inside/outside game, not ball side to help side passing. Also, Ballou needs to be taught that when he has the ball as deep in the paint as he had it a bunch of times, he needs to use his bulk and strength and just go up with it to the rim, mixing in head fakes of course. Ballou is not Shaq, but he needs to watch film of Shaq deep in the paint and try to emulate Shaq's power going to the rim. Woody said it in the post game, the O needs a lot of improvement. IU did not win that game as much as Tenn lost it.
Indiana has incredible potential
I always look forward to “mind your banners”

@@charlesjames4956 I agree, that would be good for him.
Also, had three players out for the game.
